Summary

This 2026 model represents the absolute latest in luxury transport for the GCC, offering a rare opportunity to own a current-generation executive van with minimal wear. As an Avantgarde trim, it provides a significantly higher level of interior refinement compared to standard fleet versions, making it ideal for both high-end hospitality and large families. The black exterior is a high-demand color in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring excellent resale liquidity when it comes time to upgrade. Its petrol engine choice is particularly well-suited for the region's infrastructure, avoiding the maintenance complexities often associated with diesel alternatives in high-temperature climates. For the buyer who needs to move seven people in total comfort without the bulk of a full-size SUV, this GCC-spec listing offers the perfect balance of prestige and practicality. This is a standout opportunity for anyone looking for a near-new vehicle that has already bypassed the initial depreciation hit of a showroom purchase.

This Car vs Other 2026 V300s

Being a 2026 model, this vehicle is essentially at the beginning of its lifecycle, which is a major advantage given that GCC drivers often cover 25,000 km per year. While many vans in this segment are utilized for high-mileage commercial transit, this specific unit presents as a private or executive-use vehicle. The black-on-black color scheme is a strategic choice for the region, as it remains the most requested palette for executive transport in Dubai and Riyadh, directly supporting its future trade-in value. It benefits from the latest software updates and cooling system enhancements Mercedes-Benz has introduced for this model year. Choosing a GCC-spec model like this one ensures that the car’s cooling system, including the radiator and air conditioning compressors, are built for 50-degree summers, unlike imported European variants. This car stands out by offering the peace of mind associated with a vehicle that is perfectly adapted to local highway speeds and environmental demands.

AVANTGARDE vs Lower Trims

The Avantgarde trim level completely transforms the vehicle from a functional van into a luxury mobile lounge. Unlike the base models, you receive the Agility Control suspension system as standard, which provides a much smoother ride over the speed humps and textured pavement common in residential areas. Inside, the cabin is upgraded with high-grade Lugano leather and ambient lighting that can be customized to suit the mood, a feature highly prized by GCC owners. The inclusion of the 360-degree camera system is a critical addition here, making parking in tight mall basements or narrow villa driveways significantly easier than in lower trims. You also benefit from the high-performance LED Intelligent Light System, which adapts to highway curves and provides superior visibility during night drives between emirates. These premium additions ensure that the vehicle feels like a true Mercedes-Benz rather than a mere utility vehicle.

V300 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Toyota Alphard or the Lexus LM, this model offers a distinct European driving feel and a more recognizable prestige in the GCC market. While Japanese competitors focus heavily on soft suspension, this car provides superior high-speed stability on the E11 highway, feeling more planted and secure during cross-country trips. It offers a larger interior volume than most luxury SUVs, providing genuine third-row comfort that even a full-size SUV cannot match for adult passengers. The modular seating system allows for more configuration options than the fixed layouts often found in American-style luxury vans. For those who frequently travel with a full load of passengers and luggage, the vertical tailgate and low load sill provide a level of practicality that luxury sedans simply cannot replicate. It occupies a unique niche where it provides the passenger space of a minibus with the parking footprint and badge appeal of a premium car.

Running Costs & Resale

Managing a V300 in the GCC is straightforward thanks to a robust network of authorized service centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. This petrol-powered 4-cylinder engine is designed for efficiency, averaging around 9.0 to 10.5 liters per 100km depending on your balance of city and highway driving. In the stop-start traffic of Dubai or Riyadh, the engine’s start-stop technology helps conserve fuel, while the 9G-TRONIC transmission keeps revs low at 120 km/h to optimize long-distance economy. Historically, GCC-spec luxury vans from this brand retain their value better than their European-spec counterparts because they include the local warranty and service history that buyers trust. You can expect a depreciation rate of approximately 12-15% annually, which is excellent for a luxury European vehicle in this segment. Parts availability is high across the region, ensuring that even out-of-warranty repairs are manageable through specialized local workshops.

Performance & Capability

With 190 horsepower delivered to the rear wheels, this vehicle provides a smooth and progressive power delivery that is ideal for executive transport. The 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved with surprising composure, but the real performance benefit is the mid-range torque which allows for confident overtaking on fast-moving highways. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides a tight turning circle, which is a massive advantage when navigating the tight turns of various UAE hotel entrances or residential communities. While it is not an off-road vehicle, its ground clearance is sufficient for handling gravel parking lots or unpaved tracks leading to beach houses and stables. The transmission is tuned for comfort, shifting imperceptibly to ensure that passengers can sleep or work undisturbed. It is a vehicle designed for the long haul, capable of running for hours at high ambient temperatures without any loss in performance or cabin comfort.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a masterpiece of space management, featuring a 7-seat layout that includes second-row captain's chairs for a true first-class experience. The climate control system is a heavy-duty GCC-spec unit, featuring powerful air conditioning that reaches all three rows effectively, even during the peak of July and August. Double-glazed windows and extensive soundproofing ensure the cabin remains a quiet sanctuary from the noise of wind and tires at highway speeds. The Burmester surround sound system is standard on this trim, providing an immersive audio experience that rivals high-end home theaters. Every passenger has access to charging ports and storage bins, making it the perfect vehicle for long family road trips to Salalah or weekend getaways to AlUla. The large sliding doors are electrically operated, allowing for effortless entry and exit in tight parking spaces, a feature that adds a significant touch of luxury to every arrival.

Safety

Safety is paramount in this trim, which comes equipped with the full suite of Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive systems. This includes Active Brake Assist, which is vital for the unpredictable nature of city traffic, and Lane Keeping Assist to keep you safe during long desert highway stretches. The Blind Spot Assist is particularly useful in this larger vehicle, providing visual alerts that help you navigate the multi-lane highways of the UAE safely. Attention Assist monitors your driving patterns and suggests breaks if it detects signs of fatigue, a critical feature for long-distance drivers. The vehicle also features a comprehensive airbag system that protects all three rows of passengers, alongside a reinforced body structure designed to meet the highest safety standards. With its 5-star rating heritage, this van offers the same level of protection for your family or clients as the brand's flagship sedans.

The bottom line

For the executive or head of a large family in the UAE, this 2026 Avantgarde is the most prestigious and comfortable way to travel in a group. It is a rare chance to skip the waitlist and own a perfectly spec'd, GCC-ready luxury van that will hold its value for years to come.
