Summary

This 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante is a definitive track-focused masterpiece, now available in the iconic GCC-preferred white finish. With just 21,554 km, it represents a low-mileage example that has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the region. The Performante trim introduced the revolutionary ALA active aerodynamics system, setting a Nürburgring record that solidified its place in automotive history. For a buyer in the UAE, this car offers the perfect balance of a high-revving naturally aspirated engine and the security of an all-wheel-drive system. It stands out as a highly collectible iteration of the Huracan, likely to maintain strong value retention compared to standard variants.

This Car vs Other 2018 Huracans

With a mileage of just over 21,500 km, this vehicle has covered roughly 3,500 km per year, which is exceptionally low compared to the UAE average of 20,000 km. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the GCC, offering better heat reflection and broader market appeal. While standard 2018 models are impressive, the Performante’s unique use of Forged Composite carbon fiber ensures it remains a more exclusive and desirable choice.

PERFORMANTE vs Lower Trims

The Performante adds the Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) system, which uses active flaps to switch between high downforce and low drag in less than 500 milliseconds. It delivers 30 hp more than the standard LP 610-4 and features a significantly stiffer suspension setup and a 40 kg weight reduction. Buyers also benefit from the aero-vectoring technology, which improves high-speed cornering stability—a critical feature for track days at Yas Marina.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

The Huracan Performante leads rivals like the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren 720S through its use of a high-displacement, naturally aspirated V10, providing a more immediate throttle response and a distinct acoustic profile. Its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system offers superior traction on sandy or dusty road surfaces compared to its rear-wheel-drive competitors. Additionally, the ALA system provides a mechanical simplicity in its active aero that rivals struggle to match for long-term reliability.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 14 to 15 L/100km, though this increases during stop-start Dubai traffic. Lamborghini has an established authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals occurring every 15,000 km or annually. As a record-breaking special edition, the Performante typically experiences lower annual depreciation than the standard Huracan models in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 5.2-litre V10, this car achieves a top speed of 325 km/h, making it one of the fastest naturally aspirated production cars ever made. The ALA system generates 750% more vertical downforce than the standard coupe, providing incredible stability during high-speed highway overtaking. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is specifically tuned for the Performante to provide lightning-fast shifts that are felt instantly under full throttle.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a driver-focused environment featuring extensive use of Alcantara and Forged Composite accents to mirror the exterior's lightweight philosophy. The air conditioning system is robustly engineered for the GCC climate, ensuring the small two-seat cabin cools down rapidly even after being parked in the sun. The digital cockpit provides real-time ALA telemetry, allowing the driver to monitor aerodynamic changes as they happen.

Safety

Standard safety features include a high-performance carbon-ceramic braking system capable of stopping the car from 100 km/h in just 31 meters. Electronic stability control and advanced traction management are calibrated to handle the high power output on various road surfaces, including the occasional sand-dusted highway. The car is also equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and a rigid hybrid aluminum/carbon-fiber chassis for maximum structural integrity.

The bottom line

This Huracan Performante is the ideal choice for a GCC collector or enthusiast seeking a low-mileage, record-breaking supercar that combines daily UAE usability with elite track capabilities.
