Summary

This 2026 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City represents the absolute flagship of the all-new Y63 generation, having effectively zero age since its recent debut. The transition to the twin-turbo V6 makes this the most powerful and technologically advanced Patrol ever offered in the GCC, significantly outpacing its predecessor in torque and towing capacity. As the top-tier Platinum City trim, it features exclusive 22-inch wheels and a specialized biometric cooling system essential for the extreme Gulf summer heat. With its black exterior—a premier resale choice in the local market—this listing offers a rare opportunity to own the region's most iconic SUV in its most prestigious and capable form.

This Car vs Other 2026 Patrols

As a brand-new model for 2026, this Patrol carries zero wear and provides the full benefit of Nissan's latest engineering breakthroughs. While the average GCC SUV covers over 20,000 km annually, this vehicle represents a fresh entry into the market with no high-mileage concerns. The black exterior is highly sought after in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring it will command a premium at resale compared to less traditional colors.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City is the only trim to combine the high-output 425 hp twin-turbo engine with the full range of flagship luxury features. It adds significant upgrades over the Titanium trim, including 22-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, massaging front seats with four-way lumbar support, and the innovative Invisible Hood View for precise off-roading. Most notably for GCC families, this trim includes the Biometric Cooling system, which uses infrared sensors to detect passenger body temperatures and adjust airflow automatically.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Patrol remains the primary rival to the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, leading the segment with a higher power output of 425 hp and a more modern, screen-heavy cabin layout. Its 3,700 kg towing capacity exceeds most other luxury SUVs in the class, making it the preferred choice for those hauling heavy trailers or boats between Emirates. The Patrol also offers a more generous third row of seating, providing genuine adult-sized comfort that outperforms the tighter rear quarters found in many American SUV competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel efficiency has improved by approximately 12 to 24 percent over the outgoing V8, with combined figures typically settling around 12-14 L/100km depending on urban traffic density. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully supported by Nissan's massive authorized service network, which is the most extensive in the region, ensuring parts and expert maintenance are available in every major city from Dubai to Riyadh. Historically, the Patrol LE trims retain their value exceptionally well, often seeing only 8-10% annual depreciation.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 produces a massive 700 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 6.7 seconds. This power is managed by a new 9-speed automatic transmission and an intelligent 4WD system with dedicated modes for Sand, Rock, and Mud, ensuring legendary desert performance. Standard adaptive air suspension allows you to adjust ground clearance for technical dunes or lower the vehicle for refined highway cruising at speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 28.6-inch digital monolith display, combining twin 14.3-inch screens for the driver and infotainment. Occupants are treated to quilted premium leather and a 12-speaker Klipsch audio system that features dynamic noise cancellation for a whisper-quiet ride. The 8-seat configuration is highly flexible, featuring power-folding second and third rows that can be operated directly from the cargo area for maximum convenience during family road trips.

Safety

This flagship trim features the complete ProPILOT Assist suite, which includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and lane-keeping assistance for long desert highway drives. Safety is further enhanced by 3D Around View monitoring, a head-up display, and seven standard airbags. The addition of Trailer Blind Spot Warning provides essential extra security when utilizing the vehicle's high towing capacity on fast-moving UAE highways.

The bottom line

This is the definitive choice for the GCC buyer who wants the very latest in Japanese engineering and maximum luxury, offering a massive leap in performance and tech over the previous generation.
