Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP offers a sophisticated Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) experience, perfectly suited for the GCC's mix of city commuting and long-range travel. As a brand-new 2026 model, it features the latest tech updates and remains at the very start of its depreciation curve, representing a high-value entry into the luxury electric SUV segment. The Polar White exterior is the most preferred resale color in the UAE market, ensuring strong liquidity when it comes time to upgrade. With 476 hp and a spacious 6-seat VIP layout, it serves as a futuristic alternative to traditional luxury cruisers, providing EV silence without the range anxiety common on long cross-border drives.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With zero mileage, this 2026 model is in showroom condition and sits well below the typical annual GCC usage of 20,000 km. The Polar White finish is a strategic choice for the local market, offering superior heat reflection during summer months and holding its value better than darker alternatives. Choosing a 2026 model year ensures you are getting the most refined version of the platform with the latest software and component durability standards.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim transforms the cabin experience by replacing the standard middle bench with two individual second-row captain's chairs featuring 12-way electric adjustment and zero-gravity reclining. Unlike lower trims, the VIP includes standard ventilation, heating, and massage functions for both the front and second-row passengers, a critical comfort feature in the GCC climate. You also benefit from the upgraded premium audio system and advanced DCC adaptive damping for a significantly smoother ride.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 leads rivals like the Li Auto L8 and Tank 500 in pure electric range, offering a 56.01 kWh battery that covers daily city commutes entirely on electric power. Its 70-liter fuel tank and efficient range extender provide a total range of over 1,100 km, easily outlasting many luxury competitors on the long highway stretch between Dubai and Riyadh. While competitors often rely on smaller fuel tanks or shorter EV ranges, the 01 offers the best balance of range-anxiety-free travel.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is remarkably low, averaging approximately 0.45 L/100km in combined hybrid mode, though highway driving with the generator active typically sees around 9 L/100km. Service intervals are generally set at 10,000 km, and while the brand is new, a growing network of specialized service centers in Sharjah and Dubai ensures parts availability. The 01 is showing competitive value retention in the UAE, especially as Chinese luxury brands gain significant market share in the premium REEV segment.

Performance & Capability

Despite its 2.7-ton curb weight, the dual-motor AWD system delivers 476 hp and a massive 740 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.5 seconds for effortless highway overtaking. The vehicle is surprisingly capable off-road with a 700 mm wading depth and dedicated terrain modes, making it suitable for weekend desert excursions. The all-aluminum chassis and adaptive suspension ensure the ride remains composed whether navigating Sharjah's city streets or high-speed inter-emirate highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The 6-seat configuration is tailored for luxury family travel, featuring Nappa leather and multi-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents to combat extreme summer heat. The cabin is exceptionally quiet thanks to acoustic glass and the electric-first drivetrain, providing a serene environment for all passengers. Tech highlights include a large central touchscreen and a rear-seat entertainment system, ensuring long road trips across the GCC are comfortable for the whole family.

Safety

This VIP trim comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring which are invaluable for fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic. The vehicle is built with over 87% high-strength steel and includes a 360-degree camera system to assist in tight urban parking. Forward collision warning and lane departure systems provide an extra layer of security during long-distance desert drives.

The bottom line

For the tech-forward buyer who wants the silence of an EV with the absolute range security of a petrol engine, this 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the definitive choice. Its white-on-orange spec and 6-seat luxury layout make it one of the most desirable configurations currently available in the UAE market.
