Summary

This hybrid SUV represents one of the most technologically advanced vehicles currently available in the region. As a 2026 model, it offers a future-proof ownership experience with a powertrain that balances high-output performance with exceptional fuel efficiency. The gray exterior is highly desirable in the GCC for its ability to mask dust and maintain a professional aesthetic, ensuring strong resale value. This specific trim level provides a luxury-first interior layout that rivals far more expensive European alternatives, making it a standout choice for families. The combination of a 1.5-liter hybrid system and four-wheel drive is ideal for the UAE's specific mix of coastal city traffic and long-distance highway travel. The single most important factor for a buyer here is the incredible value-for-money proposition, offering features typically reserved for flagship luxury SUVs at a fraction of the cost.

This Car vs Other 2026 Adamass

As a brand-new 2026 model year, this vehicle sits at the very beginning of its lifecycle with no usage wear, offering a significant advantage over slightly older used options in the market. In the GCC, where average annual mileage reaches up to 25,000 km, starting with a fresh vehicle ensures you remain under the most reliable phase of the mechanical lifespan. The gray exterior is a strategic choice for our climate, as it naturally handles the intense sunlight and fine desert dust better than darker shades, which helps preserve the paint quality over time. Being a Chinese-spec model, it often comes with a higher baseline of digital features and interior materials compared to base-level regional counterparts. This particular listing is an excellent opportunity for a buyer looking to leapfrog the typical depreciation curve of more established brands while securing a current-year vehicle.

VIP vs Lower Trims

Choosing this specific trim level upgrades the experience from a standard family SUV to a genuine luxury lounge on wheels. The primary differentiator is the seating configuration, which utilizes high-end captain chairs in the second row to provide more personal space and superior comfort during long drives between emirates. You also benefit from an upgraded suite of interior materials, including softer touchpoints and enhanced noise insulation that significantly reduces road hum on the E11. Most notably, this trim level includes the full-specification driver assistance suite and a premium audio system that are often optional on lesser versions. The climate control system is also more robust in this configuration, featuring multi-zone adjustments that allow every passenger to find their ideal temperature during the peak of the summer months.

Adamas vs Segment Rivals

When compared to segment rivals like the Li Auto L8 or the BYD Tang, this vehicle stands out due to its specific focus on cabin volume and refined power delivery. While many mid-size crossovers feel cramped in the third row, the clever packaging here ensures that adults can actually use the rear seats for more than just short trips. Its hybrid powertrain offers a more seamless transition between electric and petrol modes than several competitors, providing a quieter experience in stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. The 475 horsepower output places it well ahead of entry-level European crossovers in the same price bracket, giving you the performance of a sport SUV with the utility of a family hauler. Additionally, the standard four-wheel-drive system is more sophisticated than the basic AWD systems found in many city-focused rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs for this hybrid SUV are remarkably low, as the 1.5-liter engine primarily acts as a generator, resulting in fuel consumption figures that outperform almost any traditional petrol SUV in its class. In the GCC, where fuel prices are stable but mileage is high, the savings over a three-year ownership period are substantial. Maintenance intervals are predictable, and while it is a Chinese-spec vehicle, the growing network of specialized service centers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures that parts and expert technicians are increasingly accessible. Historically, high-tech hybrid SUVs from this manufacturing region are holding their value better than expected as the market shifts toward electrification. You can expect a depreciation rate of approximately 12-15% annually, which is competitive with many premium European brands. For long-term owners, the reduced wear on the engine components thanks to the hybrid assist means fewer major mechanical repairs down the road.

Performance & Capability

The most impressive figure is the 475 horsepower, which provides immediate, electric-like torque that makes highway overtaking effortless even when the vehicle is fully loaded with six passengers. The four-wheel-drive system is designed to handle more than just wet roads; it provides the stability needed for gravel tracks and light desert trail driving during weekend outings. With an automatic transmission tuned for smoothness, the power delivery is linear, avoiding the jerky shifts sometimes found in high-torque turbocharged vehicles. Ground clearance is generous for a crossover, allowing you to navigate high curbs and speed bumps with total confidence. Whether you are cruising at 140 km/h on the highway to Abu Dhabi or navigating a crowded urban center, the adaptive drive modes allow the vehicle to change its personality to suit the environment. This performance profile is specifically suited for the diverse geography of the GCC, where one journey can involve both high-speed toll roads and unpaved suburban paths.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the focus is entirely on the six-passenger layout, where the second-row captain chairs provide a business-class feel that is rare in this segment. The cabin is designed to combat the intense GCC heat with a high-capacity air conditioning system and ventilated seating that ensures rapid cooling even after the car has been parked in the sun. Large glass surfaces are treated with heat-rejecting coatings to maintain a comfortable internal temperature without overworking the compressor. Modern connectivity is at the forefront, with a large central interface and multiple charging ports for all three rows, keeping the family entertained on long cross-country road trips. The materials used in the VIP trim are specifically chosen for durability and ease of cleaning, which is vital for maintaining a premium feel in a dusty environment. Cabin insulation is a standout feature, utilizing acoustic glass to keep the interior serene and quiet even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive, featuring a modern ADAS suite that includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and autonomous emergency braking as standard equipment. These systems are particularly valuable on the high-speed highways of the UAE, where they can help mitigate the risks of driver fatigue during long commutes. The vehicle is equipped with a 360-degree camera system that makes parking this large SUV in tight mall basements a simple task. Multiple airbags protect all three rows of passengers, and the high-strength steel chassis is designed to exceed international crash safety standards. Blind-spot monitoring is highly sensitive, providing essential alerts during fast-paced lane changes in heavy city traffic. Unlike many rivals where these features are locked behind expensive option packages, this vehicle provides a 'safety-first' approach with everything included in the standard VIP configuration.

The bottom line

This 2026 model is the perfect choice for a tech-forward family looking for a luxury six-seater that doesn't carry the high running costs of a traditional V8 SUV. Its combination of 475 horsepower and a sophisticated hybrid system makes it a unique and high-value opportunity in the current GCC market.
