Summary

This 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser VXR is a near-new flagship with only 12,000 km, representing a significant saving over showroom prices while remaining in its peak mechanical window. Finished in Black, the most sought-after resale color in the UAE, this VXR trim offers the highest level of luxury and technology available in the 300-series lineup. It features the powerful 3.5L twin-turbo engine that has redefined Land Cruiser performance, making it as capable on the E11 highway as it is in the dunes of Liwa. For a GCC buyer, this is the definitive choice for a vehicle that balances executive presence with the region's most trusted service network.

This Car vs Other 2026 Land Cruisers

With just 12,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has seen significantly less use than the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC market. Its Black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the region, ensuring better value retention compared to niche shades. Buying a current-year model with this mileage allows you to skip the initial steep depreciation while still enjoying a car that feels and smells brand new.

VXR vs Lower Trims

As the flagship trim, the VXR adds critical luxury features not found on the GXR or EXR, including the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) for a significantly smoother ride on rough terrain. Inside, it upgrades the experience with a 14-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated front and second-row seats essential for the UAE summer, and a head-up display. It also features the larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a cooled center console as standard.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser 300 leads the Nissan Patrol and Land Rover Defender in long-term reliability and parts availability across the entire GCC, from major cities to remote areas. Its 110-litre fuel capacity (including the sub-tank) provides a superior cruising range for long-distance desert trips or cross-border drives. While rivals may focus on on-road electronics, the Land Cruiser’s body-on-frame construction remains the gold standard for durability in extreme heat.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L twin-turbo averages approximately 12.1 L/100km, which is highly competitive for a full-size SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Toyota's authorized service network is the most extensive in the region, with service intervals every 10,000 km ensuring low-cost maintenance and easy access to genuine parts. Historically, the Land Cruiser VXR retains roughly 75–80% of its value after three years in the UAE, making it one of the safest automotive investments in the market.

Performance & Capability

The twin-turbo V6 produces a massive 650 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 5.9 seconds—unheard of for a vehicle of this size. This power translates to effortless overtaking on high-speed motorways and exceptional climbing ability in deep sand. Equipped with Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control, this VXR is engineered to handle the most challenging GCC terrains while the 10-speed automatic transmission maintains refinement during city commutes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 7-seat sanctuary designed for the Gulf climate, featuring high-output four-zone climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows. Both the front and middle-row seats are ventilated, providing immediate relief during summer months, while the acoustic glass keeps the cabin exceptionally quiet at highway speeds. For families, the VXR includes dual 11-inch rear entertainment screens and a premium leather-and-wood steering wheel for the driver.

Safety

This VXR is equipped with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including a Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Lane Tracing Assist which are invaluable for long highway journeys. It also features a 360-degree camera system for easy parking in tight urban spaces and 10 airbags as standard. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert provide essential protection in fast-moving multi-lane traffic common in Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

This is a prime opportunity for a buyer seeking the ultimate GCC-spec SUV in its most prestigious trim, offering a perfect balance of low mileage, the best resale color, and flagship luxury.
