Summary

This 2027 iCaur V27 Flagship represents the cutting edge of range-extended SUVs, offering a perfect solution for the GCC's long-distance driving needs. As a brand-new vehicle with zero years of age, it bypasses the typical high-mileage concerns of the local market while providing the high-output dual-motor AWD system exclusive to the top trims. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, balancing heat rejection with strong resale demand in the secondary market. By combining a 1.5L turbo generator with powerful electric motors, this V27 eliminates range anxiety during cross-emirate trips while maintaining the silent, instant torque of an EV. This Flagship edition stands out as a high-tech alternative to traditional luxury SUVs, offering superior cabin refinement and verified GCC-ready specifications.

This Car vs Other 2027 V27s

Being a current-year model with a vehicle age of 0 years, this V27 is in peak mechanical condition compared to typical high-mileage used examples found in the UAE. The Grey finish is a strategic choice for the GCC, as it maintains a cleaner appearance in dusty conditions and holds a higher resale value than niche colors. As a GCC-spec unit, it is fully optimized for local cooling requirements and regional software compatibility.

FLAGSHIP vs Lower Trims

The Flagship trim is a significant upgrade over the Classic and Premium variants, most notably featuring the dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that produces 449 hp and 505 Nm of torque. Inside, this trim adds the premium 23-speaker audio system and the dual panoramic 'Starry Sky' sunroof that are not standard on lower models. It also includes the full suite of ventilated and heated seats with 9-point massage functions, essential for maintaining comfort during the peak GCC summer.

V27 vs Segment Rivals

The V27 leads its segment by offering a 1,200 km combined range (CLTC), significantly outperforming the pure EV range of the Nissan Ariya and the highway efficiency of the Jetour T2. Its 600 mm wading depth and 224 mm ground clearance provide genuine capability for weekend adventures that rivals like the Leapmotor C10 cannot match. Furthermore, the 15.4-inch 2.5K display and Snapdragon 8295 chip offer a more responsive tech experience than most traditional European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

With a 1.5L turbo engine acting solely as a generator, real-world fuel consumption is optimized for the stop-start traffic of Dubai and Riyadh, while the 60-liter tank ensures massive range for highway cruising. Service intervals are simplified compared to traditional SUVs because the range extender operates at stable RPMs, reducing mechanical wear. The iCaur brand is backed by an expanding authorized service network across the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, ensuring strong parts availability. Historical data for this new segment suggests high value retention, especially for AWD Flagship trims in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The dual-motor architecture delivers a 0–100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. With a maximum ground clearance of 224 mm and specialized all-terrain driving modes, it is well-equipped for desert camping and light off-roading. The REEV system allows for 150 km of pure electric city driving, while the range extender provides the security needed for long-distance travel between emirates without searching for chargers.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for the extreme GCC climate, featuring a dual-zone ventilation system that cools both the seat cushions and backrests. The interior is dominated by a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touchscreen and premium synthetic leather upholstery, creating a lounge-like environment for long drives. Practicality is a highlight, with a massive 715L boot that expands to 1,818L, comfortably accommodating gear for family road trips or grocery runs.

Safety

Standard on the Flagship trim is a comprehensive ADAS suite including 540-degree surround cameras, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control, which are vital for safety on multi-lane GCC highways. The high-strength cage body provides a torsional stiffness of 32,186 N/mm, paired with seven airbags to meet rigorous global safety standards. The inclusion of millimeter-wave and ultrasonic radars ensures advanced obstacle detection in both city parking and dusty highway conditions.

The bottom line

For the tech-forward GCC buyer who needs the power of a performance SUV without the range anxiety of a pure EV, this brand-new Flagship V27 is the ultimate regional choice. Its combination of 449 hp, luxury cabin features, and GCC-specific cooling makes it a standout opportunity in the current market.
