The XPeng X9 is a full-size electric MPV that stands out with its futuristic "starship-inspired" design. Measuring 5,293 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height, it features a sleek profile with a drag coefficient of just 0.227 C_d. The front end showcases a closed-off grille with a hexagonal tessellation pattern, flanked by split LED headlights and a full-width light bar. The rear is characterized by a sloping window and a floating roof design, contributing to its aerodynamic efficiency. The vehicle is equipped with power sliding doors and optional 19- or 20-inch wheels with anti-spinner stationary hubs.

Interior

Inside, the XPeng X9 offers a luxurious and spacious cabin designed for comfort and convenience. It features a 2-2-3 seating arrangement, accommodating seven passengers. The dashboard is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 17.3-inch floating touchscreen, both powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 SoC. The cabin includes a 23-speaker 2180 W 7.1.6 surround sound system, five-zone climate control, and a 10.8L refrigerator compartment with heating and cooling capabilities. The second-row seats are available with zero-gravity recline mode, offering 18-way power adjustment and massaging functions. The third-row seats feature power headrests and reclining capabilities, enhancing passenger comfort.

Safety Features

The XPeng X9 is built with a high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid body structure, comprising 83% high-strength steel and aluminum. It features a 2000 MPa high-strength safety cage and a 790 mm extra-long rear collision buffering distance. The vehicle is equipped with 70.9L extra-large side curtain airbags covering all three rows. It has achieved a five-star rating in China's C-NCAP safety testing, scoring 86.6% overall. The tested model was equipped with the optional XNGP urban NOA system, featuring two LiDARs and two Nvidia Orin X SoCs.

Engine Trims

The XPeng X9 offers multiple powertrain configurations:

• Standard Range (RWD): Equipped with a 94.8 kWh LFP battery, delivering 315 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and offers a range of up to 650 km (CLTC).

• Long Range (RWD): Features a 105 kWh NMC battery, producing 370 hp and 640 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and offers a range of up to 740 km (CLTC).

• AWD Performance: Combines a 235 kW front motor and a 135 kW rear motor for a total output of 370 kW (503 hp) and 640 Nm of torque. It achieves 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and offers a range of up to 702 km (CLTC).

All variants are equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform supporting 3C DC fast charging, enabling rapid charging capabilities.
