Summary

This 2026 Xpeng X9 Long Range is a standout choice for GCC families, offering exceptionally low mileage for its year in a market where 25,000 km is the annual norm. Finished in Grey, a color known for maintaining high resale appeal across the Emirates and Saudi Arabia, this electric van delivers a futuristic alternative to traditional luxury MPVs. It combines a massive 110 kWh battery with cutting-edge 800V architecture, ensuring you spend less time charging and more time on the road. For the modern executive or family, it represents the leading edge of Chinese EV innovation, fully adapted for local highway demands.

This Car vs Other 2026 X9s

With only 21,000 km on the odometer, this X9 has significantly less wear than the typical GCC-driven vehicle of this age. Its Grey exterior is a strategic choice for the region, offering better heat reflection and stronger resale potential than bolder, niche colors. This specific unit represents a high-spec entry point into the premium EV segment without the typical depreciation hit of a brand-new showroom delivery.

LONG RANGE vs Lower Trims

The Long Range trim upgrades the experience with a larger 110 kWh NMC battery, providing a significant range boost over the Standard Range’s 94.8 kWh LFP pack. It also includes the dual-chamber air suspension and active rear-wheel steering as standard, which are critical for navigating tight urban parking in Dubai or Riyadh. Unlike lower trims, this model maximizes the 800V platform's potential for ultra-fast charging speeds.

X9 vs Segment Rivals

The Xpeng X9 leads rivals like the Denza D9 and Zeekr 009 with its superior 542 kW DC charging capability, allowing for shorter stops on long trips between Abu Dhabi and Muscat. While competitors often feel like traditional vans, the X9’s spaceship-inspired design and rear-wheel steering give it a maneuverability advantage on busy city streets. Its integrated SEPA 2.0 platform also provides more advanced software integration than the grey-market Toyota Alphards common in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency averages around 19.3 kWh/100km, offering a substantial cost saving over petrol-powered luxury vans in GCC stop-start traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a growing authorized service presence in the UAE via Ali & Sons and specialized EV support in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and software updates are handled locally. While early-stage Chinese EVs show slightly higher initial depreciation, the X9's high-tech features and battery size help it hold value better than entry-level electric models.

Performance & Capability

With 320 hp delivered to the front wheels, the X9 manages a smooth 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 7.8 seconds, providing confident overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. The 800V architecture is the real performance hero, capable of adding 300 km of range in just 10 minutes at a compatible high-speed charger. The active rear-wheel steering reduces the turning circle to just 10.8 meters, making this 5.3-meter van as agile as a compact sedan in tight underground car parks.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, featuring a powerful climate control system with dedicated rear zones and ventilated seating to keep all passengers cool during the summer months. The interior follows a 'Zero Gravity' philosophy, offering exceptional legroom and premium materials that rival executive lounges. Advanced acoustic glass and a high-fidelity 28-speaker audio system ensure the cabin remains quiet and entertaining even at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is managed by Xpeng’s XNGP suite, which includes high-resolution cameras and lidar to provide 360-degree awareness. Standard features include autonomous emergency braking, lane centering assist, and adaptive cruise control, all of which are invaluable for the long, straight highway drives between Emirates. The 800V battery is encased in a high-strength cage designed to exceed international safety standards for thermal management and impact protection.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-forward family or executive looking for the most advanced electric people-mover in the GCC, this low-mileage 2026 X9 offers future-proof charging and unmatched cabin comfort.
