Summary

This 2010 Lexus RX350 Premium is a standout choice in the GCC used market, offering the legendary reliability of a naturally aspirated V6 paired with a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system. With 151,000 km, its mileage is well within the expected range for a 14-year-old vehicle in this region, where highway driving often exceeds global averages. The crisp white exterior is a high-demand color in the Emirates, ensuring excellent heat reflection during summer and strong resale appeal. Compared to European rivals of the same era, this RX350 is prized for its lower maintenance costs and bulletproof air conditioning—a vital factor for any long-term owner in the Middle East. It represents a refined, reliable entry into the luxury SUV segment without the steep depreciation of newer models.

This Car vs Other 2010 RX350s

With 151,000 km on the clock, this RX350 has been driven approximately 10,700 km per year, which is significantly below the typical GCC average of 20,000 km per year. While this is an American spec vehicle, it offers the same robust mechanical platform as local units, though buyers should note that parts are widely available at specialized Lexus service centers throughout the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The white exterior is the gold standard for resale in the region, holding its value better than darker alternatives.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the base model by adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a power moonroof. It also includes genuine leather-trimmed seating and a power-operated tailgate, features that are highly valued by buyers in the used market. This trim ensures a higher level of cabin refinement and convenience that remains competitive with modern luxury crossovers.

RX350 vs Segment Rivals

The RX350 leads rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes GLE of the same year in terms of long-term durability and ease of servicing. While German competitors might offer firmer handling, the Lexus provides a vastly more isolated and quiet cabin, which is preferable for long highway commutes between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its 73-litre fuel tank provides substantial range, perfect for the long-distance desert drives common in the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

In GCC conditions, you can expect real-world fuel consumption of approximately 14.3 L/100km in mixed driving, though it remains efficient on the open highway. Lexus maintains one of the strongest value retention rates in the UAE, typically depreciating much slower than its European counterparts. Service intervals are standard for the brand, and with an extensive network of authorized and specialist garages across the Gulf, maintenance is both convenient and predictable.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre V6 delivers a smooth 275 hp, enabling a verified 0-100 km/h time of approximately 8.2 seconds, providing ample power for confident overtaking on the E11. The All-Wheel Drive system features an Active Torque Control system that adjusts power delivery in real-time, offering extra stability on rain-slicked roads or gravel paths. With 180 mm of ground clearance and a 1,588 kg towing capacity, it handles weekend family excursions with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of silence, famously isolated from road and wind noise even at highway speeds. For the Middle Eastern climate, the standard ventilated front seats and powerful dual-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents are indispensable. The 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats offer flexible cargo solutions, and the high-quality interior materials are designed to resist the wear and tear of intense sunlight.

Safety

The 2010 RX350 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including multiple airbags with front, side-curtain, and driver/passenger knee protection. Standard stability and traction control systems are particularly useful for maintaining grip on sandy surfaces. For highway safety, it features standard ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution to ensure controlled stopping power in heavy traffic.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a luxury SUV that prioritizes peace of mind and long-term value over complex tech, this low-mileage RX350 is one of the safest investments in the local market. It is the perfect daily driver for a professional or a small family looking for premium comfort with the reliability of a Lexus.
