Summary

This 2011 Lexus LX570 NAVIGATION SPORT is a masterclass in long-term durability and luxury, representing one of the most sought-after pre-owned SUVs in the GCC market. With its reliable 5.7L V8 engine and GCC-specific cooling systems, this vehicle is perfectly suited for the region's demanding climate and long-distance highway travel. The White exterior is the most preferred resale color in the Middle East, ensuring that the vehicle maintains a strong market value for years to come. While the mileage reflects a well-traveled life, it is remarkably consistent with the high-utilization patterns of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where these vehicles are known to exceed 500,000 km with routine maintenance. Choosing this specific model provides a blend of executive comfort and rugged off-road capability that very few modern SUVs can match. For a GCC buyer, the most important consideration is the peace of mind that comes with the extensive Lexus service network and the legendary reliability of the LX platform.

This Car vs Other 2011 LX570s

When comparing this vehicle to other 2011 LX570 models available in the GCC, the mileage of 242,000 km is quite typical for a vehicle that has spent over a decade on the region's highways. On average, GCC owners drive approximately 20,000 to 25,000 km per year, meaning this car has been used exactly as intended without excessive wear. The White exterior is a significant advantage over darker alternatives, as it reflects the intense summer heat better and remains the top choice for buyers in the secondary market. This specific unit has been maintained under GCC specifications, ensuring it features the heavy-duty radiator and air conditioning systems required for local performance. Many other 2011 models on the market may be imported, but this GCC-spec example provides the correct filters and cooling components for our local environment. It stands out as a well-preserved example of the early 200 series, offering a mechanical simplicity that newer, more electronic-heavy models often lack.

NAVIGATION SPORT vs Lower Trims

The NAVIGATION SPORT trim was the pinnacle of the 2011 lineup, offering several high-value features that lower grades simply did not include. Most notably, this trim upgrades the interior experience with the Mark Levinson Surround Sound system, which remains one of the best audio experiences in the automotive world. You also benefit from the factory-integrated navigation system and a multi-terrain monitor that provides essential visibility when navigating tight parking spots or rocky desert tracks. While lower trims might feature basic leather, the NAVIGATION SPORT utilizes premium semi-aniline leather that is more resistant to the cracking often caused by high GCC temperatures. Additional upgrades include the Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) with Active Height Control, allowing the driver to raise the vehicle for off-road obstacles or lower it for easier entry. This trim also includes ventilated front seats, a critical feature for staying comfortable during the UAE's five-month summer season.

LX570 vs Segment Rivals

In the GCC, the LX570 is primarily cross-shopped against the Toyota Land Cruiser VXR, the Nissan Patrol V8, and the Range Rover Vogue. While the Land Cruiser shares the same platform, the Lexus offers significantly better cabin insulation and a more sophisticated hydraulic suspension system that delivers a 'magic carpet' ride on the E11 highway. Compared to the Nissan Patrol of the same era, the LX570 is widely recognized for having superior interior material quality and a more intuitive infotainment layout. Against the Range Rover, the Lexus wins decisively on long-term reliability and the cost of spare parts, which are readily available in every corner of the GCC. The LX570's 93-liter main fuel tank and 45-liter sub-tank give it a massive range advantage for cross-border trips between the Emirates and Oman or Saudi Arabia. Its 5.7L V8 provides smoother torque delivery than many of its European turbocharged rivals, making it more predictable when climbing steep dunes.

Running Costs & Resale

Ownership of a Lexus LX570 in the GCC is characterized by remarkably low depreciation compared to almost any other luxury SUV. Historically, these vehicles lose value much slower than their European counterparts, often retaining up to 60-70% of their value even after five years of use. Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.7L V8 averages around 15-18L per 100km, which is standard for a heavy, 8-cylinder luxury vehicle in this segment. Maintenance is straightforward, with service intervals typically occurring every 10,000 km; the UAE and wider GCC have an unmatched density of authorized Al Futtaim and similar service centers. Parts availability is excellent, with both genuine and high-quality aftermarket components easily accessible, ensuring that keeping the vehicle on the road is never a struggle. Even with 242,000 km, the resale market for this model remains incredibly liquid because buyers trust the Toyota-sourced mechanical underpinnings. You can expect high demand should you choose to sell the vehicle in the future, especially given its clean GCC-spec history.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this vehicle is the 381 hp 5.7L V8 engine, which produces 544 Nm of torque, providing effortless acceleration despite the vehicle's substantial size. On the highway, it maintains a composed and quiet demeanor, making long-distance drives between Abu Dhabi and Dubai feel remarkably short. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the LX570 is a genuine off-road powerhouse equipped with a full-time 4WD system and a Torsen limited-slip center differential. It features Crawl Control and a Multi-Terrain Select system, which allows the vehicle to automatically manage throttle and braking to maintain traction on soft sand or loose gravel. The 225mm ground clearance can be increased via the Active Height Control, ensuring you can clear obstacles during weekend desert excursions. Towing capacity is equally impressive at approximately 3,175 kg, making it ideal for hauling boats or trailers to the coast. The six-speed automatic transmission is tuned for durability, ensuring smooth shifts even when the engine is under heavy load in extreme heat.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the LX570 is designed to accommodate up to eight passengers in a lounge-like environment, making it the ultimate family vehicle for the GCC. The four-zone climate control system is legendary for its ability to cool the entire cabin to 20°C in minutes, even when the outside temperature exceeds 45°C. Front-row passengers enjoy heated and ventilated power seats, while the second row offers ample legroom and dedicated AC vents to ensure everyone stays cool. The third-row seats are electronically foldable, allowing you to quickly transition from a high-capacity passenger hauler to a massive cargo space for airport runs or camping gear. Cabin noise is kept to a minimum through the use of acoustic glass and extensive sound-deadening material, isolating passengers from the bustle of city traffic. The 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system provides a concert-like experience, which is perfect for those long commutes across the desert. Storage is plentiful, with various compartments throughout the cabin and a chilled center console box to keep beverages cold during the summer.

Safety

Safety in the LX570 is comprehensive, featuring a suite of ten airbags that protect passengers in all three rows. The vehicle is equipped with a Pre-Collision System and Adaptive Cruise Control, which are invaluable for maintaining safety during high-speed highway travel in the region. Stability and Traction Control are specially calibrated to handle both wet roads and slippery sand surfaces, preventing skids before they happen. The high seating position provides excellent visibility over traffic, while the 360-degree camera system and parking sensors make navigating tight urban environments much safer. High-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with an Adaptive Front-lighting System ensure that desert roads are well-illuminated at night, following the curve of the road as you steer. Active headrests and reinforced side-impact beams further enhance the structural safety of the cabin, providing peace of mind for the whole family.

The bottom line

This Lexus LX570 is the perfect choice for a family or executive looking for a bulletproof luxury SUV that holds its value better than almost anything else on the road. It represents an incredible opportunity to own a high-trim, GCC-spec icon that is just as comfortable on a desert dune as it is in a valet line.
