Summary

This Porsche Cayenne S offers an exceptional opportunity for GCC buyers, featuring remarkably low mileage of just 54,700 km for its age. Finished in Silver, it carries one of the strongest resale colors in the region and presents a much fresher mechanical profile than the high-mileage examples typically found on the market. The 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V8 provides the classic Porsche soundtrack and linear power delivery that later turbocharged models lack. While a Japanese specification vehicle, its ultra-low usage suggests it has been preserved in a climate-controlled environment, making it a standout choice for those seeking performance without the wear of a daily commuter.

This Car vs Other 2011 Cayenne S's

At just 54,700 km, this Cayenne S has covered less than 4,500 km per year, which is significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. Most 2011 models in the market have exceeded 200,000 km, making this a rare find for a collector or enthusiast. The Silver exterior is highly favored in the local market for its ability to hide dust and maintain high resale value.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim is a major step up from the base Cayenne, replacing the 3.6-litre V6 with a potent 4.8-litre V8 that adds 100 horsepower. Beyond the engine, the S trim typically includes larger 18-inch wheels, a power liftgate, and upgraded leather interiors as standard. It offers the performance-first character that GCC buyers expect from the Porsche brand, which the entry-level models often struggle to match.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Cayenne S leads rivals like the BMW X5 and Range Rover Sport in pure driving engagement and steering precision. Its 100-litre fuel tank is a massive advantage for long-distance travel between emirates or cross-border GCC trips, providing superior range. Porsche's build quality also tends to age more gracefully in the heat compared to some European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The naturally aspirated V8 averages approximately 10.5 L/100km on combined cycles, though city figures in GCC stop-start traffic will be higher. As a Japanese spec car, parts are widely available through Porsche’s extensive UAE network, though buyers should ensure the cooling system is maintained for local summer peaks. Silver V8 Porsches retain value better than V6 variants, especially when mileage is kept this low.

Performance & Capability

With a top speed of 258 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds, this SUV offers sports car performance in a family-sized package. The 8-speed Tiptronic transmission is tuned for both rapid highway overtaking and smooth city cruising. While road-biased, the All-Wheel Drive system provides excellent stability on gravel tracks and during occasional desert rainstorms.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features high-grade Porsche leather and a driver-centric cockpit inspired by the Panamera. Despite being a Japanese import, the interior remains spacious for five adults with a generous 670-litre boot for weekend road trips. The powerful dual-zone climate control system is essential for the GCC climate, ensuring the cabin stays cool even during mid-day drives.

Safety

Standard safety features include Porsche Stability Management (PSM), six-piston front brake calipers for immense stopping power, and a comprehensive airbag suite. The All-Wheel Drive system is particularly useful for maintaining traction on sandy road surfaces. Its solid construction and advanced braking systems make it one of the safest high-performance SUVs of its generation.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants a V8 Porsche experience without the high-mileage risks, this 54,700 km Cayenne S is a top-tier choice that combines timeless Silver aesthetics with preserved mechanical integrity.
