Infiniti G25 LUXURY

Highlights

• 218 hp from a 2.5L V6
• 7-speed automatic with downshift rev matching
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This Infiniti G25 Luxury represents a balanced entry into the executive sedan segment, offering the smoothness of a V6 engine without the higher running costs of its larger-displacement siblings. As a GCC-spec model, it features the factory-upgraded cooling systems and high-capacity AC essential for reliable performance in the region's extreme summer heat. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local market, ensuring it stays cooler under the sun and maintains the strongest possible resale demand. While the mileage reflects a well-traveled life across the Emirates, these VQ-series engines are renowned for their mechanical longevity when maintained within the authorized service network. This is an ideal choice for a professional looking for Japanese reliability paired with a premium rear-wheel-drive driving dynamic.

This Car vs Other 2012 G25s

While the mileage on this unit is higher than the GCC annual average, it indicates a vehicle that has likely spent much of its life on the UAE’s well-maintained highway network rather than in heavy stop-start city traffic. The white exterior provides a significant advantage for local resale and heat management compared to darker alternatives. Being a genuine GCC-spec car, it holds a clear value premium over imported American-spec versions due to its regional warranty history and parts compatibility.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim provides a substantial interior upgrade over the base models, most notably featuring leather-appointed seating and a more sophisticated climate control system. It also includes 8-way power-adjustable front seats and the 7-inch color vehicle information display as standard. For GCC drivers, the inclusion of xenon headlights and front fog lights in this trim offers better visibility during nighttime desert highway commutes.

G25 vs Segment Rivals

The G25 stands out against rivals like the Lexus IS250 and BMW 325i by offering a more engaged rear-wheel-drive platform and a standard 7-speed transmission that remains smoother than many 6-speed competitors of the same era. Its naturally aspirated V6 avoids the complexity and heat-soak issues often associated with the turbocharged four-cylinders found in European rivals. The interior space, particularly shoulder room, is more generous than the Lexus, making it a more practical choice for a family of five.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 9.8 L/100km, which is efficient for a V6-powered executive sedan in GCC highway conditions. Infiniti benefits from the extensive Nissan-backed authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring parts are always readily available and affordable. The G-platform has one of the most stable depreciation curves in the pre-owned market, typically retaining more value than equivalent German luxury sedans after a decade of use.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-liter VQ-series V6 delivers a refined 218 hp, allowing for a 0–100 km/h sprint in approximately 8 seconds. Power is delivered linearly through a 7-speed automatic gearbox that features downshift rev-matching for a sportier feel during overtaking. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides a balanced 54/46 weight distribution, resulting in precise handling on winding roads and stability at highway cruising speeds.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring high-quality leather and soft-touch materials that have proven durable in the Gulf climate. The dual-zone automatic climate control is specifically tuned for GCC specs to provide rapid cabin cooling even after the car has been parked in direct sunlight. Passive insulation is excellent, keeping road noise to a minimum during high-speed travel between Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes an advanced six-airbag system, electronic stability control, and traction control to maintain grip on sandy or rain-slicked surfaces. The vehicle is also equipped with four-wheel ventilated disc brakes and ABS with Electronic Brake force Distribution. These active systems are particularly valuable for safely navigating the fast-moving, multi-lane highway environments common in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec G25 is a smart acquisition for a buyer seeking a premium V6 experience with a proven track record of regional reliability and high resale potential.
