Summary

This Lexus LS460 Premier LWB offers a refined executive experience with the added security of all-wheel drive, a rare and desirable configuration for the region. The Long Wheelbase (LWB) chassis provides exceptional rear legroom, making it a perfect choice for those who value passenger comfort during long cross-border drives. With its robust V8 and Japanese engineering, it stands as a highly durable alternative to European rivals, known for handling the extreme GCC summer heat without compromise. This specific listing is finished in black, a high-demand color in the local market that supports stronger resale value. At 110,000 km, this 13-year-old sedan has been driven significantly less than the typical annual average for the UAE, representing a well-preserved opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2013 LS460s

With only 110,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has averaged approximately 8,500 km per year, which is exceptionally low for the GCC where 20,000 km is the standard. The black exterior is a primary resale driver in the UAE market, ensuring the car remains desirable for years to come. While many LS460s from this era are rear-wheel drive, this AWD model offers superior stability on sand-dusted highways.

PREMIER LWB vs Lower Trims

The Premier LWB trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the base model, adding the world-class 19-speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound system. It also features the long-wheelbase body for nearly 12 cm of extra rear legroom and typically includes climate-controlled seating for both front and rear passengers. These high-spec comfort features are essential for maintaining luxury standards in the harsh local climate.

LS460 vs Segment Rivals

The LS460 leads the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series in long-term mechanical reliability and air conditioning performance, which is a critical factor during the Gulf summer. Its naturally aspirated V8 is simpler to maintain than the turbocharged units found in German rivals, leading to fewer cooling system issues over time. Additionally, the Lexus service network is the most comprehensive across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the AWD V8 typically ranges between 11.5L/100km on highways and up to 18L/100km in heavy city traffic. Lexus retains value better than almost any other luxury brand in the GCC, with the LS model showing roughly 10% slower depreciation than its European counterparts. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km, and authorized centers are readily available in every major city across the Emirates.

Performance & Capability

The 4.6-litre V8 produces 380 horsepower and is paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering a 0-100 km/h time in approximately 6 seconds. The all-wheel-drive system features a Torsen limited-slip differential that actively manages torque, providing excellent grip on rain-slicked roads or gravel-strewn surfaces. It is designed for effortless high-speed cruising between emirates, remaining exceptionally quiet even at 120 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Premier LWB offers a true lounge environment with a focus on rear-seat luxury and acoustic glass to isolate passengers from road noise. The air conditioning system is specifically engineered for high-ambient temperatures, featuring multiple zones to ensure every passenger remains cool. High-quality leather and wood finishes throughout the cabin highlight the Japanese Takumi craftsmanship that defines the LS series.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes a comprehensive suite of airbags and advanced stability control optimized for all-wheel drive. Useful for GCC driving, it features blind-spot monitoring for fast-paced highway traffic and adaptive cruise control for relaxed long-distance travel. The vehicle's solid construction and multiple collision-avoidance systems provide peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer seeking a low-mileage, high-specification flagship that is mechanically bulletproof for the Middle East, this LS460 Premier LWB is the definitive choice.
