Summary

This 12-year-old Aston Martin Vantage is a standout example of British engineering, showing just 51,000 km on the odometer—exceptionally low for the GCC market. Finished in a classic Grey that maintains strong resale appeal in the region, this GCC-spec coupe offers the mechanical peace of mind local buyers prioritize. It delivers a pure, visceral driving experience that modern turbocharged rivals struggle to match, thanks to its high-revving naturally aspirated powerplant. For a collector or enthusiast in the UAE, this listing represents a rare opportunity to own a meticulously maintained modern classic with significantly below-average mileage.

This Car vs Other 2014 Vantages

With just 51,000 km over 12 years, this Vantage has been driven roughly 4,250 km annually, which is far below the typical GCC average of 20,000 km per year. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after neutral tone in the UAE, ensuring it remains easier to resell than bolder, niche colors. Being a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, it features the cooling systems and radio frequencies required for seamless local ownership.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The 2014 Vantage came as a well-appointed base model, but this example includes the high-resolution integrated navigation and premium leather interior that were essential options for regional buyers. It features the 7-speed Sportshift II automated manual transmission, which provides sharper shifts than the earlier 6-speed units. The standard trim also benefits from a slightly more compliant ride quality for daily city driving compared to the stiffer, track-focused S variants.

Vantage vs Segment Rivals

Against the Porsche 911 and Maserati GranTurismo of the same era, the Vantage leads with its hand-assembled heritage and timeless, compact proportions. While the 911 is common on UAE roads, the Aston Martin offers a level of exclusivity and 'bond-car' charisma that is unmatched in its class. Its hydraulic steering rack provides a level of tactile feedback that many contemporary rivals lost when switching to electronic systems.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.7L V8 typically averages around 13.8 L/100km, though highway cruising between emirates can see this improve significantly. Aston Martin has a dedicated and prestigious service presence in major hubs like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring parts and expert technicians are readily available. While European sports cars face higher depreciation than Japanese brands, a low-mileage, GCC-spec Vantage holds its value remarkably well as it enters enthusiast-classic territory.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this car is the 4.7-litre V8 producing 420 hp, capable of reaching a top speed of 290 km/h. On UAE highways, the linear power delivery makes for effortless overtaking, while the rear-wheel-drive layout and mid-front engine placement provide a perfect 49:51 weight distribution. The Sportshift II transmission allows for rapid manual control via steering-mounted paddles, perfect for spirited drives through Jebel Jais.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cabin is a masterclass in material quality, featuring hand-stitched leather and authentic aluminum accents that stay cool under the GCC sun. The automatic climate control system is specifically tuned to handle extreme desert heat, maintaining a stable cabin temperature even in peak summer. Unlike many supercars, the Vantage offers a surprisingly usable rear luggage shelf and 300 liters of boot space, making it a viable grand tourer for weekend trips to Oman.

Safety

Safety is managed by a high-strength bonded aluminum chassis and a comprehensive suite of active systems, including Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA). The car is equipped with front and side airbags specifically designed for the coupe's compact cabin architecture. For high-speed highway commuting, the standard rear parking sensors and powerful bi-xenon headlamps provide essential visibility and confidence.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to secure a low-mileage, GCC-spec Aston Martin Vantage that bridges the gap between a daily-usable sports car and a future collectible.
