Summary

This Jaguar F-TYPE represents a compelling entry point into British sports car ownership, featuring the iconic supercharged V6 that defines the model's auditory character. Finished in Black, a top-tier color for regional resale value, this 2015 Coupe shows mileage that sits right at the average for a decade of GCC driving, indicating a vehicle that has been regularly used and mechanically exercised. While rivals offer more clinical speed, few can match the theatre and presence this F-TYPE brings to UAE roads. For a buyer in the Gulf, the combination of GCC specifications and the enduring appeal of the X152 silhouette makes this a standout opportunity for a daily-drivable performance car.

This Car vs Other 2015 F-TYPEs

At 90,680 km, this vehicle tracks perfectly with the expected 10,000 km per year average for weekend sports cars in the region, avoiding the risks associated with long-term storage or excessive highway commuting. The Black exterior is one of the most liquid colors in the UAE secondary market, ensuring easier resale compared to niche bright tones. Being a GCC-spec model, it features the cooling and filtration necessary for the high-ambient temperatures of the Middle East.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The 2015 F-TYPE Standard serves as the foundation of the range, providing the essential supercharged V6 experience and a lighter curb weight than the V8 variants. While it utilizes a 340 hp tune compared to the 'S' trim's 380 hp, it maintains the same 3.0-liter block and 8-speed Quickshift transmission. This trim focuses on the core driving dynamics, often featuring a slightly more compliant ride quality better suited for the diverse road surfaces found across the Emirates.

F-TYPE vs Segment Rivals

The F-TYPE is frequently cross-shopped against the Porsche Cayman and the BMW Z4. While the Cayman leads in clinical precision, the Jaguar dominates in road presence and exhaust drama, offering a supercharged character that turbo-charged rivals lack. Its 70-liter fuel tank is well-sized for long-distance cruising between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, providing a grand-touring range that beats smaller-tanked sports cars.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the V6 typically averages around 9.8 L/100km, though stop-start traffic in major GCC hubs will see that figure rise. Service intervals are recommended every 13,000 km or 12 months by JLR UAE, with a well-established authorized service network stretching across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Muscat. While European sports cars face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese coupes, the F-TYPE has reached a stabilization point in the GCC market, where well-maintained GCC-spec units hold their value through enthusiast demand.

Performance & Capability

The 340 hp supercharged V6 delivers a top speed of 260 km/h, providing effortless overtaking power on the UAE’s fast-moving multi-lane highways. The 0-100 km/h sprint of 5.3 seconds is delivered via a rear-wheel-drive layout and an 8-speed automatic that mimics the snap of a dual-clutch system. The active sports exhaust is a standard feature that provides the pops and crackles synonymous with the Jaguar brand, making every tunnel drive a memorable experience.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is designed with a clear driver-centric focus, featuring high-quality leather and a rising center vent system that is as functional as it is theatrical. The powerful air conditioning system is specifically calibrated in GCC-spec models to handle 45°C+ summer peaks effectively. Despite its sports car intentions, the cabin remains well-insulated from exterior wind noise during high-speed highway cruising.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip during rare rainy spells or on sandy road shoulders. The F-TYPE is equipped with front and side airbags, alongside Emergency Brake Assist for sudden highway stops. The rigid aluminum structure provides a high level of passive protection, ensuring the car feels planted and secure at all speeds.

The bottom line

Perfect for the enthusiast seeking a head-turning daily sports car, this GCC-spec F-TYPE offers the ideal balance of mileage, desirable color, and supercharged performance for the regional market.
