Summary

This GCC-spec 675LT Coupe represents a rare opportunity to own the defining modern 'Longtail' that reignited a legendary performance lineage. With production strictly capped at just 500 units worldwide, this model is a blue-chip collectible that has already achieved icon status among enthusiasts in the region. Finished in a striking red that commands presence from the Dubai Autodrome to the capital's grand boulevards, it offers a visceral, track-focused experience that few modern supercars can replicate. For the serious GCC collector, its regional specification ensures the cooling systems and electronics are fully optimized for local high-temperature operation, providing peace of mind during the summer months.

This Car vs Other 2016 675LTs

While many examples on the global market are European or North American imports, this GCC-spec unit is specifically built to handle the region's unique environmental challenges. With high-performance cars in the UAE often serving as weekend trophy vehicles, a well-maintained example like this typically shows significantly less wear on the interior leather and carbon surfaces than high-mileage overseas equivalents. The red exterior is a globally desirable shade for the Longtail, ensuring it remains a highly liquid asset in the local secondary market.

COUPE vs Lower Trims

The 675LT is the hardened, track-oriented evolution of the 650S, featuring 50% new engine components and a massive 100kg weight reduction. It introduces the active 'Longtail' Airbrake, which is 50% larger than the 650S wing, and a bespoke titanium crossover exhaust that produces a distinctive, aggressive acoustic signature. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the P1-derived suspension geometry and the significantly increased downforce, which provides exceptional stability during high-speed highway cruising between Emirates.

675LT vs Segment Rivals

In the local market, the 675LT is frequently cross-shopped with the Ferrari 458 Speciale and the Lamborghini Huracán Performante. While the Italian rivals offer naturally aspirated drama, the McLaren leads with its incredible torque delivery of 700 Nm and a carbon fiber Monocell chassis that provides superior rigidity and safety. Its rarity is also a major differentiator; with only 500 Coupes ever produced, it is far more exclusive than many of its mainstream supercar contemporaries.

Running Costs & Resale

Running costs reflect its status as a specialized supercar, with official service intervals typically recommended every 15,000 km or annually. Authorized service centers are well-established in major hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, ensuring professional support is always accessible across the GCC. While all supercars experience initial depreciation, the 675LT has shown remarkable value retention compared to the standard Super Series models due to its limited production run and status as the founding member of the modern LT family.

Performance & Capability

Performance is nothing short of explosive, with the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 propelling the car to 200 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission features 'Ignition Cut' technology for lightning-fast shifts that feel mechanical and urgent. On UAE roads, the car’s specialized Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires and carbon-ceramic brakes provide immense stopping power and grip, making it as capable on a technical circuit as it is composed on a high-speed desert highway.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a masterclass in functional minimalism, dominated by lightweight Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber to save weight. The fixed-back carbon fiber bucket seats, derived from the McLaren P1, provide exceptional support during spirited driving while remaining surprisingly comfortable for cross-country trips. Despite its track focus, the climate control system is engineered to maintain cabin temperatures even in 45°C heat, a critical feature for any supercar owner in the Gulf region.

Safety

Safety is anchored by the carbon fiber Monocell, a structural tub that provides a level of occupant protection usually reserved for race cars. Standard safety features include advanced Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with multiple modes, high-performance Traction Control, and a comprehensive airbag system. The active Airbrake not only aids aerodynamics but also deploys under heavy braking to improve rear-end stability, ensuring the car remains balanced during emergency maneuvers on fast-moving highways.

The bottom line

This 675LT is a rare, GCC-spec masterpiece for the driver who demands absolute performance and the collector who values long-term exclusivity in the UAE market.
