Summary

This 2021 McLaren 765LT is a collector-grade example of the track-focused Super Series, offering a significant performance leap over the 720S. With only 3,000 km, this vehicle has covered just a fraction of the distance typical for a five-year-old car in the GCC, representing an exceptional opportunity for a serious enthusiast. The Grey finish is a highly resilient and desirable choice for regional resale, maintaining a sophisticated profile against the UAE's bright landscape. As a limited-run Longtail model, its rarity ensures it stands apart from standard production supercars. For the GCC buyer, this 765LT offers the ultimate blend of track-ready hardware and the status that comes with an individually numbered McLaren limited edition.

This Car vs Other 2021 765LTs

With just 3,000 km on the odometer, this car is in the lowest mileage bracket for its year in the GCC market, where luxury cars often accumulate double this distance annually. The Grey exterior is a strong resale choice in the region, offering a neutral yet aggressive aesthetic that holds value better than more eccentric launch colors. For a vehicle of this age, such low usage suggests it has been preserved as a centerpiece rather than a daily driver.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The 765LT represents a significant hardware upgrade over the 720S, featuring Senna-derived brake calipers and a full titanium quad-exit exhaust system as standard. It adds a more aggressive carbon fiber aero package including a larger front splitter and an extended active rear wing, providing 25% more downforce. Inside, the focus on weight reduction is evident through the standard carbon fiber racing seats and the removal of heavy sound-deadening materials.

765LT vs Segment Rivals

Compared to rivals like the Ferrari 488 Pista or Lamborghini Huracán STO, the 765LT leads with a superior power-to-weight ratio and a specialized 'Longtail' chassis that prioritizes high-speed stability and mechanical grip. Its 0-200 km/h time of just 7.0 seconds is a benchmark in this segment, significantly outpacing its immediate European competitors. The bespoke hydraulic steering system provides a level of tactile feedback that remains unmatched by the electronic systems found in many modern rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

While the 4.0-litre V8 is highly efficient for its output, real-world consumption typically sits around 12.3 L/100km, which can increase significantly during spirited weekend drives through the Northern Emirates. Service intervals are strictly every 15,000 km or 12 months, and McLaren has a strong authorized presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia to ensure specialist care. As one of only 765 units produced globally, this model experiences much slower depreciation than standard Super Series models, often maintaining a premium in the used market.

Performance & Capability

The 765LT is capable of a blistering 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h, making it one of the fastest street-legal cars in the GCC. The revised transmission gearing is 15% quicker in-gear than the 720S, providing instant response for highway overtaking. Its track-honed suspension and Pirelli Trofeo R tires are optimized for the perfectly paved highways and circuits like Yas Marina or Dubai Autodrome.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a focused, driver-centric environment lined with lightweight Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber. Despite the track bias, the air conditioning system is robust enough to handle the peak GCC summer, ensuring cabin comfort during transit to the track. An 8.0-inch vertical touchscreen provides essential connectivity, while the ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels and titanium bolts emphasize the car's dedication to minimized mass.

Safety

Safety is built around the carbon fiber MonoCage II structure, providing immense rigidity and occupant protection. Standard safety features include carbon-ceramic brakes for fade-free stopping power, a 360-degree camera for easier maneuvering in city traffic, and an advanced electronic stability control system tuned specifically for the LT's high-downforce characteristics. The vehicle lift system is also standard, a critical feature for safely navigating speed humps across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The bottom line

This is a rare, low-mileage opportunity for a collector to own a definitive piece of McLaren history that is perfectly prepared for both the high-speed roads and the exclusive showrooms of the Middle East.
