Summary

This 730Li M Sport offers a highly strategic entry point into the flagship BMW range, combining the imposing presence of a long-wheelbase sedan with a fuel-efficient 2.0-litre turbocharged powertrain. With mileage significantly below the regional average for its age, it represents a well-preserved example suitable for both executive commuting and family logistics. The blue exterior is a sophisticated alternative to standard tones, maintaining a high level of prestige and visual impact in professional settings. This generation’s use of Carbon Core technology ensures it remains agile and efficient on the highway compared to its heavier predecessors. For any buyer in the GCC, this spec ensures the vehicle's cooling and electronics are purpose-built for the local climate.

This Car vs Other 2018 730Lis

With only 59,000 km, this vehicle has averaged less than 10,000 km per year, which is exceptionally low for the GCC where 20,000 km is the standard. This low usage translates to significantly less wear on the air suspension and interior materials, offering a clear advantage over higher-mileage alternatives. The Blue finish is a premium choice that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, yet remains conservative enough to retain strong resale interest.

M SPORT vs Lower Trims

The M Sport trim adds a sharper aesthetic and higher equipment level than the base Pure Excellence configuration, featuring 19-inch M light alloy wheels and a more aggressive aerodynamic kit. Inside, this trim typically provides the M leather steering wheel and the high-end Harman Kardon audio system that GCC buyers prioritize. It also benefits from the BMW Display Key and 4-zone climate control, ensuring every passenger remains comfortable during peak summer temperatures.

730Li vs Segment Rivals

The 730Li competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S320 and Audi A8, leading the group in chassis agility thanks to its lighter 4-cylinder engine and RWD layout. While rivals often feel heavier in city traffic, the 730Li is notably easier to maneuver through Dubai or Riyadh’s tight urban sectors. Its long-wheelbase configuration provides superior rear legroom compared to standard-length competitors, making it a favorite for chauffeur-driven use.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages roughly 6.5L/100km on the highway, making it one of the most efficient full-size luxury sedans for long-distance driving between emirates. Service intervals occur every 12,000 km, and BMW’s extensive authorized network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures parts and specialized technicians are always accessible. While flagship sedans depreciate faster than SUVs, the 730Li holds its value better than V8 variants due to its lower maintenance complexity and broader appeal to the used market.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by 265 hp, the 730Li reaches 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, providing smooth and sufficient power for confident highway overtaking. The 8-speed Steptronic transmission is tuned for refinement, delivering nearly imperceptible shifts that prioritize passenger comfort. Various drive modes, including Comfort and Sport, allow the driver to stiffen the air suspension for a more engaged feel or soften it for a cloud-like ride across uneven surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of German craftsmanship, featuring extended leather upholstery and a 4-zone automatic climate control system that delivers powerful cooling to all five occupants. The long-wheelbase design offers expansive rear legroom, complemented by electric sunblinds and ambient lighting that enhances the executive atmosphere at night. Acoustic glazing significantly reduces road noise, ensuring a quiet environment even at high cruising speeds on the E11.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a 360° camera system and parking sensors, which are essential for navigating a vehicle of this size. It features a full suite of airbags, Electronic Stability Control, and Brake Assist, providing a secure platform for family travel. The GCC spec includes specialized sensors to monitor tire pressure accurately in extreme heat, alongside adaptive LED headlights that provide exceptional visibility on unlit desert roads.

The bottom line

This listing is an ideal opportunity for a professional or family seeking a low-mileage flagship that balances luxury with sensible running costs in the GCC.
