Summary

This 2018 Porsche Cayenne S is a highly targeted choice for GCC buyers who want sports car performance without sacrificing SUV utility. Finished in white, it features the region's most resilient resale color, effectively reflecting the intense Gulf sun to keep cabin temperatures manageable. The twin-turbocharged V6 delivers a significant power jump over the base model, making it ideal for high-speed highway overtaking and cross-emirate travel. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it provides peace of mind with a cooling system built to handle 45°C summers. This listing represents a strategic balance of prestige and mechanical durability for the local market.

This Car vs Other 2018 Cayennes

With 138,300 km on the clock, this Cayenne S has been driven roughly 17,200 km annually, which sits comfortably within the typical GCC average of 15,000 to 20,000 km per year. While many European-market cars would be considered high-mileage at this point, GCC buyers recognize that these highway-heavy kilometers are often less taxing on the engine than stop-start city traffic. The white exterior is a major advantage here, as it remains the most sought-after and high-retention color in the UAE and Saudi Arabian used markets.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim is a massive step up from the base Cayenne, replacing the standard engine with a high-output 2.9L twin-turbo V6 that adds 100 extra horsepower. Beyond the performance, this trim typically adds key regional essentials like a sunroof, driver-seat memory functions, and Power Steering Plus for easier low-speed maneuvering. It bridges the gap between the entry-level model and the more expensive Turbo variant, offering the same 440 hp found in the GTS of the same era.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Cayenne S leads rivals like the BMW X5 and Range Rover Sport when it comes to driver-centric chassis tuning and high-speed stability on long desert roads. Its 100-liter fuel tank is specifically beneficial for GCC owners, providing a significant highway range that reduces the need for frequent stops on trips between Dubai and Riyadh. Unlike many competitors, Porsche's engineering focus ensures the air conditioning and engine cooling systems maintain peak performance even during the hottest months of the year.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect a real-world combined fuel consumption of approximately 9.4L/100km, though this will rise in heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, and with Porsche's extensive authorized network across the UAE and the wider GCC, maintenance is straightforward. The Cayenne S holds its value better than heavily-optioned base models, generally retaining about 45-50% of its value at the five-year mark in the local market, making it a stable luxury investment.

Performance & Capability

The 440 hp twin-turbo V6 enables a 0-100 km/h sprint of just 5.2 seconds, putting it on par with many dedicated sports cars. Its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system provides immense grip on both paved highways and the gravel tracks often found on weekend escapes to the Northern Emirates. With a top speed of 265 km/h and 550 Nm of torque, it offers effortless cruising power that makes long-distance travel across the region feel remarkably brief.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a strictly five-seat environment, prioritizing shoulder room and legroom for all passengers rather than squeezing in a cramped third row. Standard high-quality leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control ensure comfort during the peak of summer. The 670-liter boot space is ample for family shopping or golf bags, and it expands to 1,780 liters with the seats folded for larger hauls.

Safety

Equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, this Cayenne S features front and rear parking sensors and Porsche's legendary braking system to handle fast-moving highway traffic. The standard all-wheel-drive system works in tandem with stability management to maintain control during sudden changes in surface grip, such as sand drifts on highway lanes. It remains one of the highest-rated SUVs in its class for both active and passive safety.

The bottom line

Perfect for the professional or family driver who demands Porsche performance in a GCC-hardened package, this white Cayenne S offers the best balance of resale value and twin-turbo power available in the pre-owned market.
