Summary

This 2019 example of the reinvented W463 generation offers a rare opportunity to own a modern icon with incredibly low mileage for its age. Finished in black, the most liquid and desirable resale color in the UAE, this G63 provides the massive leap in refinement and chassis technology introduced for this model year. As a performance SUV, it balances daily drivability with the mechanical hardware to handle any terrain across the Emirates. For the GCC buyer, the combination of the updated cockpit and the legendary hand-built V8 makes this a standout choice for those seeking presence and power. The exceptionally low odometer reading ensures this vehicle remains a premium asset in a market that highly values well-preserved examples.

This Car vs Other 2019 G63 AMGs

With only 9,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC market. While most 7-year-old examples would show between 140,000 and 175,000 km, this unit presents in near-factory condition. The black exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in Dubai and Riyadh, ensuring high demand and value retention compared to less conventional shades.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The G63 AMG sits at the top of the range, offering 585 hp compared to the 416 hp found in the G500. It features a unique AMG-specific grille, flared wheel arches, and iconic side-exit exhaust pipes that are not standard on lower models. Inside, it gains the full digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch displays and a high-performance braking system essential for high-speed highway commuting.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The G63 leads rivals like the Range Rover Sport SVR and Lamborghini Urus by maintaining a traditional ladder-frame chassis and three mechanical locking differentials for genuine off-road superiority. Its upright design provides better visibility and headroom than the more aerodynamic competitors, making it a favorite for long-distance family travel. While others prioritize track performance, the G63 remains the benchmark for status and all-terrain versatility in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect a combined fuel consumption of approximately 13.2 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in major GCC hubs. As a Japanese-spec vehicle, it offers a more accessible entry price than local GCC-spec equivalents, though buyers should ensure cooling systems are inspected for local summer performance. Authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers are widely available across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals occurring every 15,000 km or 12 months.

Performance & Capability

The 585 hp V8 biturbo enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving highways like the E11. Unlike most luxury SUVs, it features a low-range transfer case with a 2.93 reduction ratio, allowing it to navigate deep sand dunes with ease. With 241 mm of ground clearance and selectable modes like Sand and Rock, it is perfectly suited for weekend desert excursions or crossing border terrain.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a major upgrade for this generation, featuring premium materials and acoustic glass to insulate passengers from the harsh Gulf heat. The five-seat layout offers significantly more rear legroom than its predecessor, catering to families who travel frequently between emirates. Standard features typically include ventilated front seats and multi-zone climate control, which are vital for maintaining comfort during peak summer temperatures exceeding 45°C.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a 360-degree camera system, which is essential for maneuvering the vehicle's boxy dimensions in tight city parking. It also features a full suite of driver assistance technology, including Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist, which are particularly useful for high-speed highway driving. The robust body-on-frame construction provides a solid safety cell, complemented by a comprehensive airbag system for all occupants.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a collector or enthusiast seeking the modern G-Class experience with showroom-level mileage. Its liquid color and updated tech make it a safe and prestigious investment for life in the GCC.
