Summary

This 2020 Bentley Continental GTC represents a rare opportunity to own a collector-grade First Edition with exceptionally low mileage for the GCC market. Finished in a sophisticated Blue that maintains high resale demand in the region, this W12-powered convertible stands apart from the common V8 models with its effortless power and signature Bentley Dynamic Ride system. As a First Edition, it comes standard with the most desirable Mulliner and Touring specifications, ensuring the highest level of luxury and safety available for this model year. For the discerning UAE buyer, this listing offers the perfect balance of performance and open-top grand touring refinement, backed by the prestige of a limited-run trim.

This Car vs Other 2020 Continental Gtcs

With only 19,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the average 2020 model in the GCC, which typically sees 20,000 km of driving annually. The low usage preserves the integrity of the W12 powertrain and the condition of the four-layer acoustic fabric roof. The Blue exterior is a strong choice for the local market, offering a distinguished look that holds its value better than more niche color palettes.

FIRST EDITION vs Lower Trims

The First Edition is a comprehensive upgrade that bundles the Mulliner Driving, Touring, and City specifications into one exclusive package. It adds distinctive 22-inch wheels, diamond-in-diamond quilted leather, and the iconic Bentley Rotating Display which allows you to switch between a 12.3-inch touchscreen and three analog dials. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the standard inclusion of ventilated front seats and the full suite of ADAS features like Night Vision and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Continental Gtc vs Segment Rivals

The Continental GTC leads the luxury convertible segment with its unique 6.0L W12 engine, providing a level of smoothness and torque that rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 Volante or Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet cannot match. Its advanced All-Wheel Drive system ensures superior stability on high-speed desert highways, while the 90-litre fuel tank provides greater touring range for cross-border trips between Emirates. The inclusion of the 48V active roll control system also allows for a flatter, more composed cornering experience than its competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the W12 engine typically averages around 14.8 L/100km, though this can increase in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are required every 10,000 km or 12 months, and while maintenance at authorized Bentley centers carries a premium, it is essential for protecting the car’s strong value retention. In the GCC market, First Edition models depreciate at a slower rate than base trims due to their limited production and high-spec desirability among collectors.

Performance & Capability

The 635 hp W12 engine delivers a massive 900 Nm of torque, allowing for effortless overtaking at highway speeds even with four passengers on board. The active all-wheel-drive system is rear-biased for a sportier feel, but it can instantly shift power to the front wheels to maintain traction on sandy or rain-slicked roads. With a top speed of 333 km/h, it remains one of the fastest four-seat convertibles in the world, providing a sense of unlimited power that is perfectly suited for the UAE's well-maintained road network.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a showcase of hand-finished craftsmanship, featuring ventilated seats that are a necessity for the GCC summer and a neck-warmer system for cooler winter evenings with the top down. The soft-top roof can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, retracting in just 19 seconds to reveal an interior shielded by acoustic glass that significantly reduces exterior noise. Premium materials like knurled switchgear and dual-tone veneers create a serene environment, further enhanced by the multi-zone climate control designed to handle extreme desert temperatures.

Safety

Safety is paramount in the First Edition, which includes the Touring Specification as standard. This provides Adaptive Cruise Control for long highway drives, Lane Assist, and Night Vision to detect pedestrians or hazards in low-light desert conditions. The City Specification adds a 360-degree camera system and Top View camera, making it easy to maneuver this grand tourer in tight urban parking spaces, while Traffic Sign Recognition keeps you informed of changing speed limits across different Emirates.

The bottom line

For the collector or luxury enthusiast in the GCC, this low-mileage W12 First Edition offers the ultimate open-top Bentley experience with a specification that will remain highly desirable for years to come.
