Summary

This 2020 Lexus RX350 Prestige offers an exceptional balance of low mileage and long-term reliability that is highly sought after in the GCC. Finished in Grey, a color with consistently strong resale demand in the UAE, this SUV represents a mature buying opportunity compared to higher-mileage regional alternatives. The RX350 stands out for its legendary cabin refinement and smooth V6 power, providing a more relaxed driving experience than its German rivals. For a buyer in the Gulf, the combination of All Wheel Drive stability and a proven naturally aspirated powertrain makes this a versatile companion for both city commuting and cross-border highway trips.

This Car vs Other 2020 RX350s

With just over 15,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle's mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km per year. While it is an American spec vehicle, its mechanical condition and low usage offer a distinct advantage for buyers prioritizing longevity. The Grey exterior finish is a practical choice for the region, known for maintaining its aesthetic appeal and value better than bolder, niche colors.

PRESTIGE vs Lower Trims

The Prestige trim elevates the RX350 experience by adding essential luxury features that GCC buyers value, such as ventilated front seats for summer comfort and a power sunroof. It typically upgrades the audio experience to a premium 12-speaker system and includes larger 20-inch alloy wheels that provide a more commanding road presence than the base model. You also benefit from enhanced interior materials, including leather upholstery and wood trim accents.

RX350 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the BMW X5 or Mercedes-Benz GLE, the RX350 leads in long-term reliability and lower maintenance complexity due to its naturally aspirated V6. It offers a more comfort-oriented suspension setup that excels on the UAE's well-maintained highways. While rivals may focus on aggressive sportiness, the Lexus provides superior cabin insulation and a more user-friendly ownership experience across the wider GCC region.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus maintains some of the strongest value retention in the UAE used market, typically depreciating only 8–10% annually compared to 15% for European luxury SUVs. The 3.5L V6 is designed for longevity and is compatible with standard high-grade petrol available across all Emirates. While this is an American spec car, parts are widely available due to the high volume of RX models in the region, and specialized service centers for Lexus are found throughout the GCC.

Performance & Capability

The 296 hp V6 engine delivers a smooth, linear power delivery that makes highway overtaking effortless on roads like E11. With a 0-100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds, it provides ample performance for a family crossover without the harshness of a turbocharged setup. The All Wheel Drive system ensures maximum traction during the occasional heavy rain or when navigating gravel paths during weekend getaways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of quiet, featuring dual-zone climate control with powerful cooling capacity essential for 45°C summers. The five-seat layout provides generous legroom for all passengers, and the ventilated front seats are a must-have feature for local driving conditions. With 612 litres of boot space, it easily accommodates family grocery runs or luggage for a trip to Oman.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist. Blind Spot Monitoring is particularly useful for multi-lane highway driving in Dubai, while Adaptive Cruise Control simplifies long desert drives. The vehicle is equipped with a full suite of airbags, providing peace of mind for family-focused owners.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants Lexus luxury and reliability without the premium price of a GCC-spec new model, this ultra-low mileage RX350 is a smart, stable investment.
