Summary

This 2020 AMG GT 43 offers a rare opportunity to own a high-performance four-door coupe with exceptionally low mileage, having covered just over 13,000 km in six years. Its Grey exterior is a highly desirable shade in the GCC market, striking a perfect balance between professional elegance and strong resale demand. While it serves as the gateway to the AMG GT family, it stands out by offering the same aggressive silhouette and high-tech cabin as its V8 siblings but with far more manageable running costs. For a buyer in the Emirates or wider GCC, the combination of 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and a refined inline-six makes this an ideal executive daily driver that handles both city traffic and cross-border highway cruises with ease.

This Car vs Other 2020 AMG GTs

With only 13,004 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km per year seen in the GCC market. While many 2020 models will be approaching 100,000 km, this example remains in a near-pristine mechanical state, offering the long-term reliability of a much newer car. The Grey finish is a major asset locally, as it resists the visible effects of dust better than black while maintaining higher resale interest than unconventional colors.

43 vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the AMG GT 4-Door series, the 43 doesn't actually have a 'lower' trim, but it significantly upgrades the standard Mercedes sedan experience with AMG-specific hardware. It includes the 12.3-inch dual-screen digital cockpit, Burmester surround sound, and the AMG Dynamic Select system as standard. GCC buyers will appreciate that even in this trim, you receive the aggressive wide-body styling and high-performance braking systems that define the AMG brand.

AMG GT vs Segment Rivals

The AMG GT 4-Door is primarily cross-shopped with the Porsche Panamera and the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe. It leads the segment in pure visual drama, offering a more 'supercar-inspired' interior layout with its high center console and color-display buttons. For the GCC driver, its 80-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long trips between cities like Dubai and Riyadh compared to some smaller-capacity competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.0-litre turbocharged engine is paired with a 48V EQ Boost mild-hybrid system, which helps reduce fuel consumption during the heavy stop-start traffic common in Dubai or Doha. While European luxury vehicles generally see a depreciation of 12–18% annually in the GCC, the AMG GT 4-Door maintains a dedicated enthusiast following that helps stabilize its value. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring that maintaining this Korean-spec model remains straightforward.

Performance & Capability

The 367 hp inline-six engine allows for a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.9 seconds, providing plenty of punch for highway overtaking on the E11. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system is fully variable, meaning it can send power exactly where it's needed to maintain composure during rare rain events or on wind-blown sandy roads. The 9-speed TCT transmission is tuned for rapid shifts in Sport+ mode but remains exceptionally smooth for relaxed evening drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a strict four-seater, featuring individual rear seats that provide a true 'first-class' experience for passengers. Dual-zone climate control is standard and engineered to cope with the extreme 45°C+ summer heat of the Gulf, ensuring the cabin stays chilled even at midday. The interior is finished with premium materials and customizable 64-color ambient lighting, creating a high-end atmosphere for nighttime city driving.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Mercedes-Benz's full suite of active assists, such as Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The vehicle also features a 360-degree camera system to simplify parking this long coupe in tight urban mall spaces. Active Brake Assist and Pre-Safe systems provide an additional layer of protection, monitoring traffic for potential collisions and preparing the cabin for impact.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the prestigious AMG GT silhouette without the overhead of a V8, this ultra-low-mileage 43 trim is the most sensible entry point into elite performance. It is a perfect match for a young professional or enthusiast looking for a car that looks like a supercar but functions like a luxury daily driver.
