Summary

This 2020 GLC 300 Coupe AMG Line is a standout choice in the GCC market, offering the highly desirable white exterior that commands strong resale value across the region. With its low mileage for a four-year-old vehicle, it provides a significantly fresher driving experience compared to the high-usage highway commuters typically found in the UAE. The AMG styling package elevates its presence, bridging the gap between standard luxury and high-performance aesthetics. For a GCC buyer, the refined cabin cooling and updated 2020 MBUX interface make it a sophisticated and reliable daily driver for both city traffic and cross-emirate trips. This configuration represents a sweet spot of German engineering and local market preference.

This Car vs Other 2020 GLC 300s

At just over 90,000 km, this GLC has been driven less than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, suggesting better mechanical preservation. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring faster liquidity and higher price retention than darker alternatives. Being a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the regional climate and remains eligible for official service support across the UAE and wider GCC.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG Line adds a significant layer of sportiness over the base GLC 300, most notably through the diamond-block grille, aggressive front and rear aprons, and 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels. Inside, the trim upgrades the experience with a flat-bottom sport steering wheel and brushed metal pedals that aren't found on standard models. This specific trim is highly favored by GCC buyers who want the visual prestige of an AMG without the higher maintenance costs of a V8 engine.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 300 Coupe leads its primary rivals, the BMW X4 and Audi Q5 Sportback, with a more intuitive cabin layout and the acclaimed MBUX voice assistant which excels in hands-free operation during long highway drives. Its 9G-Tronic transmission offers more ratios than many competitors, providing smoother power delivery and improved fuel efficiency at cruising speeds. The Mercedes-Benz focus on ride quality makes it better suited for the high-speed, multi-lane highways common between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world combined fuel consumption is approximately 10.0 L/100km, which is efficient for a luxury coupe in GCC stop-start traffic. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the strongest authorized service networks in the UAE, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always accessible. While European luxury SUVs generally face higher depreciation than Japanese alternatives, the GLC 300 AMG Line in white is a top performer for value retention, typically holding its value better than the Porsche Macan or Jaguar F-Pace in this region.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 255 hp, providing confident overtaking power for the E11 highway. With 370 Nm of torque available from as low as 1,300 rpm, the GLC 300 feels incredibly responsive in urban settings and pulls smoothly during family road trips. The standard 4Matic all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum stability on sand-dusted roads and during the rare but heavy regional rainstorms, while the selectable DYNAMIC SELECT modes allow you to sharpen the steering for more engaging drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a 10.25-inch high-resolution touchscreen and the MBUX infotainment system, which is a significant leap forward for the 2020 model year. For the GCC climate, the dual-zone automatic climate control is exceptionally powerful, paired with rear cooling vents to keep all five passengers comfortable during peak summer. Acoustic insulation is a high point, effectively muting wind noise during high-speed desert crossings, while the 40/20/40 power-folding rear seats allow for flexible cargo solutions despite the sleek coupe roofline.

Safety

This GLC 300 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety tech including Blind Spot Assist, which is essential for the fast-paced lane changes typical of UAE highways. Active Brake Assist and the Pre-Safe system provide an extra layer of protection, while the Attention Assist driver drowsiness monitor is particularly useful for late-night drives across the border. Standard LED high-performance headlamps ensure excellent visibility during long, unlit desert stretches.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec GLC 300 Coupe AMG Line is the ideal opportunity for a buyer seeking the perfect balance of low-mileage reliability and the high-prestige AMG aesthetic in the region's best resale color.
