Summary

This 2025 Mazda CX-90 Premium offers a modern, sophisticated alternative to the traditional family SUV, combining an efficient mild-hybrid powertrain with a premium 8-seat cabin. At one year old with 35,678 km, its mileage reflects typical GCC highway use and remains well within the range for a vehicle of this age. The Red exterior is a standout choice that retains strong curb appeal in the UAE and Saudi markets, contrasting elegantly with the high-quality interior materials Mazda is known for. Built to GCC specifications, it ensures full compatibility with regional fuel grades and authorized service centers across the Emirates and beyond. For buyers seeking a blend of luxury and Japanese reliability, this listing represents a significant saving over new showroom prices.

This Car vs Other 2025 Mazda CX-90s

With 35,678 km on the odometer, this CX-90 has been driven slightly more than the global average but aligns perfectly with GCC annual driving patterns of 25,000–30,000 km. Most 2025 models in the market are either showroom-fresh with zero mileage or higher-use corporate vehicles, making this a balanced choice for a private buyer. The Red finish is a premium color that holds its value well in the local secondary market due to its unique high-gloss finish.

PREMIIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience over the Select or Preferred versions by adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a panoramic moonroof. It also introduces the larger 12.3-inch infotainment display and the high-fidelity Bose 12-speaker audio system, which are high-priority features for local resale. Unlike base trims, this version includes a 360-degree View Monitor, making it much easier to park in tight city spaces like Dubai Mall or Riyadh Front.

Mazda CX-90 vs Segment Rivals

The CX-90 leads rivals like the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot in driving dynamics, utilizing a rear-biased all-wheel-drive system that feels more planted at highway speeds. Its 3.3L Inline-6 engine provides a smoother power delivery than the turbocharged four-cylinders often found in this segment, which is a major benefit during long-distance drives across the UAE. While competitors focus on utility, the Mazda offers a cabin refinement that closely mirrors European luxury brands at a more accessible price point.

Running Costs & Resale

The mild-hybrid system optimizes fuel consumption to approximately 8.1 L/100km, providing a welcome efficiency boost in stop-start city traffic. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Mazda's authorized network through Galadari in the UAE and Haji Husein Alireza in Saudi Arabia is extensive and well-regarded for parts availability. As a newer flagship model, the CX-90 is showing strong value retention, depreciating at a slower rate than European equivalents in the same luxury-crossover class.

Performance & Capability

The 284 hp turbocharged engine delivers confident overtaking power, essential for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of the GCC. The rear-biased i-Activ AWD system and Kinematic Posture Control work together to minimize body roll, making this 8-seater feel surprisingly agile for its size. While designed for the road, the selectable Off-Road mode provides enough traction for weekend trips to light gravel areas or firm sand tracks near family camping spots.

Comfort & Cabin

The 8-seat configuration is ideal for large families, featuring dedicated AC vents for all three rows to combat extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and high-grade insulation keep the cabin remarkably quiet, shielding passengers from road noise during long commutes between emirates. The inclusion of ventilated seats is a critical feature for the region, ensuring driver comfort even during the peak of July and August.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this GCC Premium trim includes a full ADAS suite with Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. The Adaptive Cruise Control is particularly useful for reducing fatigue on the long desert stretches between cities, while the 360-degree camera provides excellent visibility in crowded urban environments. With multiple airbags and a high-strength chassis, it provides top-tier protection for all eight occupants.

The bottom line

Perfect for the growing family that refuses to sacrifice driving pleasure for space, this GCC-spec CX-90 offers a high-luxury experience with the peace of mind of a Japanese powertrain.
