Summary

This 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC Premium represents a well-timed purchase, featuring the significant mid-cycle refresh that introduced the advanced MBUX voice-command system. Finished in white, the most preferred resale color in the GCC, this SUV combines the capability of all-wheel drive with the efficiency of a refined four-cylinder turbo. Its mileage is consistent with average use for a premium vehicle in the region, where highway commutes are common. This specific Premium trim adds high-demand features like a 360° camera and an upgraded digital cockpit, making it a highly competitive choice in the luxury crossover segment. For a GCC buyer, the blend of German engineering and all-weather 4MATIC traction ensures confidence during both city traffic and cross-emirate highway runs.

This Car vs Other 2020 GLC 300s

With 108,000 km, this GLC has been driven approximately 21,000 km per year, which is remarkably average for the UAE and wider GCC market where distances between cities are greater. While some units may show lower numbers, those are often city-bound cars; this mileage suggests consistent highway use, which is often easier on the engine and transmission components. The white exterior is a strategic choice for this region, as it reflects heat better than darker tones and historically holds the highest resale value in the local used market.

E 4MATIC PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium package on this 4MATIC model elevates the experience significantly over the base GLC 300 by adding the 64-color ambient lighting system and the KEYLESS-GO package. It also includes the highly sought-after 10.25-inch high-resolution touchscreen and the larger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, which were optional on lower tiers. The inclusion of the 360-degree parking camera and blind-spot assist makes navigating tight parking structures in Dubai or Riyadh far more manageable compared to entry-level trims.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 300 leads the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 in interior tech integration, thanks to the natural-language 'Hey Mercedes' voice assistant that is particularly effective for hands-free control during busy commutes. While rivals offer similar power, the Mercedes 9G-TRONIC transmission provides a smoother shifting experience on long desert highways. Its 550-liter boot space (expandable to 1,600 liters) offers a practical edge for family road trips between emirates compared to the more sloping profiles of some competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this turbocharged powertrain averages around 10.0L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, reflecting its efficiency in stop-start traffic and high-speed cruising. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or once a year, and Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the strongest authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While European luxury SUVs naturally depreciate faster than Japanese alternatives, the 2020 facelifted GLC retains its value better than pre-refresh models due to its modern MBUX software.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by a new-for-2020 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 255 hp and 370 Nm of torque, this SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is not just for wet weather; it provides superior grip on sandy shoulder roads and stability during the sudden heavy rains common in the GCC winter. The DYNAMIC SELECT system allows you to toggle between Sport mode for highway overtaking and Eco mode for maximizing range on long cross-border drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout for the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone automatic climate control system that is engineered to handle extreme summer heat effectively. The 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats allow for flexible cargo configurations, while the acoustic glass provides excellent insulation from external road and wind noise during high-speed highway travel. Premium materials and power-adjustable memory seats ensure that long-distance journeys between major GCC cities remain fatigue-free.

Safety

This GLC 300 comes standard with an impressive safety suite, including Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and the PRE-SAFE predictive occupant protection system. For the GCC driver, the Attention Assist feature is invaluable for detecting drowsiness during long, monotonous desert highway stretches. The 360-degree camera system and Crosswind Assist provide additional layers of safety when dealing with narrow urban lanes or high-speed gusts on open plains.

The bottom line

This listing is a prime opportunity for a professional or family looking for a modern, tech-forward Mercedes-Benz that has already cleared its steepest depreciation curve while retaining the latest MBUX interior.
