Summary

This 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 AMG combines the luxury of an executive SUV with the agility of the AMG-Line styling package. With just 24,504 km on the clock, this low-mileage example represents an exceptional find in the GCC market, where yearly averages typically double this figure. The metallic black finish is a high-demand color in the region, ensuring strong resale value and a timeless aesthetic. It stands out in the compact luxury segment for its refined MBUX interface and the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system that provides confidence on both city highways and loose gravel surfaces. For a GCC buyer, this offers the perfect balance of a premium badge and manageable daily running costs.

This Car vs Other 2020 GLC 300s

At under 25,000 km, this GLC 300 has seen significantly less road time than the typical 2020 model in the GCC, which usually averages between 80,000 and 100,000 km by this age. The black-on-black color combination is arguably the most stable choice for resale in the local market. While this is an American spec vehicle, its mechanical condition and extremely low mileage make it a compelling alternative to higher-mileage GCC spec units.

AMG vs Lower Trims

The AMG-Line trim transforms the GLC's presence with an aggressive body kit, 20-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels, and a diamond-pattern grille that isn't found on the standard base models. Inside, it adds the flat-bottom sport steering wheel and brushed aluminum pedals, creating a much more driver-focused environment. These aesthetic and tactile upgrades are highly valued by buyers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, often commanding a quicker sale at a premium.

GLC 300 vs Segment Rivals

The GLC 300 often wins over the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 when it comes to interior opulence and the sophistication of its MBUX infotainment system. While the BMW focuses on a stiffer, sportier ride, the Mercedes provides a more compliant suspension that excels on long highway hauls between the Emirates. Its 550-liter boot and generous rear legroom make it a more practical family companion than many specialized rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine is efficient for its class, averaging approximately 8.1 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC stop-start traffic may see this rise. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the strongest authorized service networks across the GCC, with massive facilities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Jeddah. Parts availability is excellent, which helps mitigate the typical 12-15% annual depreciation seen in European luxury SUVs in this region.

Performance & Capability

The 245 hp output allows this SUV to reach 100 km/h in a swift 6.2 seconds, making highway merging and overtaking effortless on fast-moving GCC roads. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission work seamlessly to provide a smooth, composed experience even at higher cruising speeds. While designed for the road, its ground clearance and torque are more than sufficient for weekend trips to coastal areas or navigating sandy construction zones.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin features high-quality Artico leather and the upgraded MBUX 10.25-inch touchscreen with voice control. The air conditioning system is engineered to handle extreme summer heat, featuring dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers comfortable. Acoustic glass and premium insulation ensure a quiet environment, shielding occupants from the exterior noise of busy metropolitan traffic.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of this trim, featuring Blind Spot Assist as standard—a vital tool for the multi-lane highways of the GCC. It also includes Active Brake Assist, a 360-degree camera for effortless parking in tight mall spaces, and Pre-Safe systems that prepare the cabin if a collision is detected. The 4MATIC system further enhances safety by providing superior traction on rain-slicked or sandy road surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a buyer seeking a nearly-new Mercedes-Benz experience at a used-market price point, specifically suited for those who value the AMG aesthetic and low-mileage longevity.
