Summary

This GCC-spec 2021 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pack is a highly sought-after configuration in the local market, blending the aggressive aesthetics of the M Sport package with a balanced four-cylinder powertrain. With 69,000 km, its mileage is notably lower than the GCC annual average, making it a competitive choice for buyers seeking longevity. The Black Sapphire finish remains a premier resale color across the Emirates, ensuring strong value retention. As a Sports Activity Coupe, it offers a distinct profile that stands out from typical crossovers while maintaining the reliability required for the region's climate. For the GCC buyer, this represents a well-maintained entry into BMW's premium lifestyle segment with the preferred regional cooling and specifications.

This Car vs Other 2021 X4s

With 69,000 km on the odometer, this X4 has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, placing it in a higher tier for mechanical health. The black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the UAE and Saudi markets, often commanding a premium over less traditional hues. This specific unit benefits from being a GCC-spec model, ensuring the cooling systems and warranty parameters are optimized for local conditions.

xDrive 30i M Sport Pack vs Lower Trims

The M Sport Pack transforms the X4 with an aerodynamic body kit, Shadowline exterior trim, and an M steering wheel that a standard xLine trim lacks. It also upgrades the driving dynamics with a firmer M Sport suspension and larger 19-inch M double-spoke wheels, features that are highly valued by UAE drivers for high-speed highway stability. Inside, the M-specific trim and SensaTec dashboard provide a noticeably more premium cabin environment than the base entry.

X4 vs Segment Rivals

The BMW X4 leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe in terms of infotainment ergonomics, utilizing the intuitive iDrive 7 system which is particularly easy to use during fast-moving Dubai highway traffic. Compared to the Porsche Macan, the X4 offers a more generous standard cargo capacity of 525 litres, making it more practical for weekend trips between Emirates. Its xDrive all-wheel-drive system is specifically tuned for road-biased agility, providing superior handling on paved surfaces compared to more traditional luxury crossovers.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 7.3 L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may see figures closer to 11.2 L/100km. Service intervals are managed by BMW’s Condition Based Servicing (CBS) system, typically appearing every 12,000 km, with a comprehensive authorized service network available across all major GCC cities. The M Sport trim historically depreciates at a slower rate than base models in the UAE, retaining roughly 70-75% of its value after three years.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L TwinPower Turbo engine delivers 252 hp and 350 Nm of torque, allowing for a swift 0–100 km/h sprint in just 6.3 seconds. This power is managed by a refined 8-speed Steptronic transmission that provides effortless overtaking capability on long stretches like the E11 highway. While road-biased, the xDrive system offers excellent traction on gravel and rain-slicked surfaces, and the selectable drive modes allow for a comfortable cruise or a sharpened response for more spirited driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed to shield occupants from the GCC heat, featuring a high-performance multi-zone climate control system and a standard panoramic sunroof with a thick power sunshade. The digital cockpit and 10.25-inch touchscreen provide seamless connectivity via wireless Apple CarPlay, essential for modern GCC commutes. M Sport-specific seats offer enhanced lateral support, ensuring comfort during long-distance drives across the borders.

Safety

Standard safety features on this trim include BMW’s Active Guard with frontal collision warning and automatic city braking. For the high-speed multi-lane environments of the GCC, the standard blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning systems provide critical driver assistance. The vehicle also features a comprehensive airbag system and parking sensors as standard to assist in tight urban parking scenarios.

The bottom line

This X4 M Sport is the ideal choice for a professional or small family seeking the prestige and styling of a BMW coupe with the practicality of an SUV. Given its low mileage and GCC pedigree, it represents one of the most stable value-retention opportunities currently available in the mid-size luxury segment.
