Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 4.3 seconds
• 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine
• 83-litre fuel tank capacity

Summary

This GCC-spec vehicle presents an exceptional opportunity for performance enthusiasts, featuring a massive mileage advantage compared to the 20,000 km annual average typically seen in the UAE. As a flagship M-performance variant, it delivers the visceral V8 character that defines the Sports Activity Coupe segment, far exceeding the output of the standard six-cylinder models. The Alpine White exterior remains one of the most resilient and sought-after colors for resale value across the GCC, efficiently managing heat during peak summer months. For a buyer seeking a near-showroom-standard example of this generation, this listing combines ultimate engine provenance with a local specification that ensures full service compatibility and high market desirability.

This Car vs Other 2022 X6s

With only 70 km on the odometer, this vehicle is mechanically distinct from typical 4-year-old examples in the GCC market, which usually accumulate significant highway distance between emirates. While most 2022 models have transitioned into their mid-life service cycles, this unit offers a virtually untouched drivetrain and interior. The combination of GCC regional spec and a neutral white exterior provides a significant advantage for long-term value retention compared to imported American or European units.

M 50i vs Lower Trims

The M 50i represents a significant mechanical upgrade over the xDrive40i, replacing the 3.0L inline-six with a 530 hp twin-turbo V8. Beyond the engine, this trim adds essential performance hardware as standard, including M Sport brakes with blue calipers, an M Sport differential for enhanced cornering, and the M Sport exhaust system. It also elevates cabin comfort with standard four-zone automatic climate control and the 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, features often relegated to optional packages on lower trims.

X6 vs Segment Rivals

The X6 M 50i leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and Audi Q8 by offering a more aggressive, driver-focused chassis setup and BMW's signature iDrive 7.0 interface. Its 83-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long-distance desert highway drives compared to many competitors in the performance SUV class. The unique coupe-like silhouette offers a more distinct road presence in GCC city traffic while maintaining a respectable 580-litre boot capacity for family utility.

Running Costs & Resale

In GCC conditions, real-world fuel consumption for the 4.4L V8 averages approximately 15.2 L/100km in city traffic and drops to 9.4 L/100km during steady highway cruising. BMW's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring consistent maintenance support throughout the region. While high-performance European SUVs typically see 12-18% annual depreciation, the extremely low mileage and GCC-spec status of this specific unit place it in the highest tier of value retention for its model year.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 530 hp and 750 Nm of torque, this vehicle reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. The xDrive all-wheel-drive system and M Sport differential provide immense traction, making it highly capable for high-speed highway overtaking and maintaining stability during coastal crosswinds. Integrated drive modes allow the driver to transition from a refined cruiser to a sharp performance machine, perfectly suited for the diverse road conditions found across the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for the GCC climate, featuring powerful four-zone climate control to ensure rapid cooling for all passengers. Premium materials throughout the interior are paired with a 12.3-inch digital cockpit and a matching central touchscreen for seamless navigation across the GCC. The acoustic insulation is specifically tuned to minimize road noise on long desert journeys, creating a refined environment even when the V8 engine is under load.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite featuring Frontal Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Active Blind Spot Detection, which is invaluable for fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic. The 360-degree camera and Parking Assistant Plus simplify maneuvering in tight urban spaces, while the high-strength chassis and multiple airbag system provide top-tier protection. Adaptive LED headlights with automatic high-beam assist ensure maximum visibility during unlit desert night drives.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer who demands the presence of a V8 BMW with the freshness of a new car, this 70 km GCC-spec unit is the most compelling X6 currently available in the regional used market.
