Lamborghini Aventador ULTIMAE

Highlights

• 0–100 km/h in 2.8 seconds
• One of 350 built
• Naturally aspirated V12

Summary

This 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae represents the absolute final chapter of the naturally aspirated V12 era, making it one of the most significant modern collectibles in the GCC. With only 1,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000 km annual average for the UAE, preserving its mechanical integrity and investment potential. The white exterior is a top-tier resale choice in the region, offering better heat reflection and higher demand on the secondary market compared to louder, niche colors. As the final production Aventador, the Ultimae combines the raw performance of the SVJ with the refined driving dynamics of the S, creating a versatile supercar suited for both coastal cruises and track sessions. For a buyer in the GCC, this is a rare opportunity to own a virtually new piece of automotive history that has already established a strong price floor globally.

This Car vs Other 2022 Aventadors

With just 1,500 km of total use, this Ultimae is in a different league compared to most 2022 examples in the GCC, which are often nearing their first major service intervals. While the regional average mileage for a four-year-old car would be closer to 80,000 km, this collector-grade example has barely cleared its run-in phase. The white finish is a tactical advantage for the UAE climate and ensures the fastest possible turnaround should you decide to trade it in the future.

ULTIMAE vs Lower Trims

The Ultimae is the most powerful non-hybrid Aventador ever made, producing 780 hp—a 40 hp increase over the Aventador S and 10 hp more than the track-focused SVJ. Unlike the bare-bones SVJ, the Ultimae retains full luxury features including Apple CarPlay, a more sophisticated interior with laser-cut Alcantara, and a refined suspension setup better suited for Dubai's roads. It also features a specific numbered plaque and a unique front bumper design that increases downforce without the aggressive fixed wing of the SVJ.

Aventador vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Ferrari 812 Competizione or the McLaren 765LT, the Aventador Ultimae stands out for its legendary AWD grip and the visceral sound of its 6.5L naturally aspirated V12. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides more range for long-distance drives between Emirates than many high-strung rivals. The iconic scissor doors and mid-engine silhouette remain the gold standard for presence at any high-end GCC venue.

Running Costs & Resale

Running an Ultimae in the GCC involves premium specialized maintenance, with authorized service centers well-established in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across Saudi Arabia. Fuel consumption is heavy, averaging roughly 21L/100km, and the high-compression engine requires 98-octane Super petrol. Historically, final-edition V12 Lamborghinis like the Ultimae have shown exceptional value retention, often appreciating as the market shifts toward hybrid replacements. Being a Japanese spec, it is important to verify local service history and compatibility with UAE navigation and radio frequencies.

Performance & Capability

The Ultimae reaches a verified top speed of 355 km/h, placing it among the fastest road-legal cars in the world. The Haldex all-wheel-drive system and four-wheel steering work in tandem to provide immense stability during high-speed highway overtaking and precision during cornering. It features a 7-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) gearbox that delivers shifts in just 50 milliseconds, providing a mechanical connection that modern dual-clutch systems often lack.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 2-seat cockpit focused on high-grade materials, featuring heated power-adjustable seats and the upgraded Sensonum audio system. The air conditioning system is robust enough to handle peak UAE summer temperatures, and the inclusion of a front-axle lift system is essential for navigating speed bumps and underground parking in modern GCC developments. Acoustic insulation is improved over the SVJ, making long-distance drives across the borders significantly more comfortable.

Safety

Safety is managed by a high-strength carbon fiber monocoque and a comprehensive electronic stability program tuned for three distinct drive modes: Strada, Sport, and Corsa. Standard carbon-ceramic brakes provide 100–0 km/h stopping distances of just 30 meters, while the AWD system ensures maximum traction on dusty or rain-slicked road surfaces. The car also features front and rear parking sensors and a rearview camera to assist with the limited visibility typical of mid-engine supercars.

The bottom line

This is the final, most refined iteration of the Aventador, presented in a perfect GCC-ready color with delivery-level mileage. It is the definitive choice for a serious collector who wants the peak performance of the V12 era without sacrificing the luxury of a grand tourer.
