Summary

This 2022 Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder represents a significant saving for a 4-year-old supercar that has already navigated its steepest depreciation curve. The EVO trim is the definitive choice for the GCC, bringing all-wheel drive stability and the updated LDVI predictive logic that makes it remarkably composed on Dubai’s highways. Finished in a professional and highly resale-friendly Grey, this Korean-spec example offers the raw, emotive character of one of the final naturally aspirated V10s in production. It stands out in the market for its balance of visceral performance and open-top usability, making it a versatile addition to any local collection. For a GCC buyer, the primary consideration is the exceptional engine cooling and chassis responsiveness that allows it to thrive in high-temperature environments.

This Car vs Other 2022 Huracans

With 27,410 km on the odometer, this Huracan has been driven roughly 6,800 km per year, which is significantly lower than the 20,000 km annual average seen across the GCC. While Korean regional specs may require a simple infotainment update for local maps, the mechanical hardware remains identical to global standards. The Grey exterior is a high-demand color in the UAE and wider region, ensuring it holds its value better than more eccentric or specialized shades.

EVO Spyder vs Lower Trims

The EVO trim is a major leap over the earlier LP610-4, adding rear-wheel steering and a torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system for vastly improved cornering agility. It introduces the 8.4-inch HMI touchscreen which centralizes vehicle controls, a feature GCC buyers prioritize for its modern cabin feel. Crucially, the EVO shares its 640 hp engine with the track-focused Performante, offering top-tier power without the uncompromisingly stiff ride.

Huracan vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Ferrari F8 Spider, the Huracan offers the unique mechanical soul of a naturally aspirated V10, providing a linear power delivery and soundtrack that turbocharged rivals cannot match. While the McLaren 720S Spider focuses on carbon-tub lightness, the Lamborghini’s all-wheel-drive system provides a more confident and planted feel during high-speed highway cruising. The Huracan also benefits from a more intuitive interface and a wider network of specialized service support in major GCC hubs.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 13.5L/100km, though stop-start city traffic in Riyadh or Dubai can see this rise. Service intervals are typically required every 12,000 km or annually, with authorized service centers widely available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. In the GCC market, the Huracan EVO maintains strong value retention, typically depreciating at a more stable rate of 10-12% annually after the initial three-year drop, outperforming many of its European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 5.2-liter V10 delivers a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 3.1 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on fast-moving motorways like the E11. Its top speed of 325 km/h is supported by advanced aerodynamics, including a front splitter and suspended rear spoiler that maximize downforce. The LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) system acts as a central brain, predicting driver intent to adjust the suspension and torque distribution in real-time for maximum stability.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit features high-quality Italian finishes and the essential 8.4-inch multi-touch screen that handles climate and entertainment. The electrically foldable soft-top can be operated at speeds up to 50 km/h, perfect for the cooling evenings of the GCC winter season. Despite its performance focus, the cabin is well-insulated, and the air conditioning is engineered to maintain comfort even during the peak summer months.

Safety

Standard safety features include a high-performance carbon-ceramic braking system capable of stopping the car from 100 km/h in just 32.2 meters. Electronic stability control and traction control are specifically tuned for the all-wheel-drive system, providing essential grip on sand-dusted road surfaces. The car also features front and side airbags and parking sensors to assist with visibility in tight urban environments.

The bottom line

This EVO Spyder is the ideal acquisition for an enthusiast seeking the peak of naturally aspirated performance in a versatile convertible format. It represents a smart buy for a GCC-based owner who wants a high-spec, well-maintained supercar that is ready for both weekend coastal drives and daily city presence.
