Summary

This 2022 Lincoln Navigator Reserve represents the sweet spot in the luxury SUV market, offering a high-output powertrain and an expansive 8-seat configuration that is ideal for GCC families. With its twin-turbocharged V6 delivering 450 horsepower, it easily manages long-distance highway cruises between emirates while maintaining a composed and quiet cabin. The Silver exterior is one of the most practical choices for the region, known for its heat-deflection properties and strong resale demand in the secondary market. For a buyer looking for flagship American luxury with modern tech like a 13.2-inch touchscreen and ventilated seating, this well-maintained example is a compelling alternative to new models. The combination of All-Wheel Drive and adaptive suspension makes it a robust choice for both city commutes and weekend road trips across the GCC.

This Car vs Other 2022 Navigators

At 116,000 km, this Navigator has been driven slightly above the global annual average, but this is typical for flagship SUVs in the GCC where long-distance highway travel between cities is the norm. The mileage reflects a vehicle that has been regularly exercised on open roads, which is often better for the 10-speed transmission and cooling systems than low-mileage city idling. The Silver finish is a high-value asset in the UAE and Saudi markets, consistently ranking among the top three colors for resale speed and value retention.

RESERVE vs Lower Trims

The Reserve trim is a significant upgrade over the standard model, most notably adding the panoramic Vista Roof that dramatically brightens the three-row cabin. It also introduces the Perfect Position 24-way power-adjustable front seats, which are essential for finding comfort on long drives across the border. Additional premium touches standard on this trim include 22-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels and power-deployable illuminated running boards, providing a much more sophisticated entrance and stance than the base trim.

Navigator vs Segment Rivals

The Navigator leads its primary rivals, the Cadillac Escalade and Infiniti QX80, in pure turbocharged torque delivery, providing more immediate overtaking power on the highway. Its interior tech, centered around a massive 13.2-inch display, offers a more modern interface than many competitors in this model year. Furthermore, the Navigator’s third-row legroom is frequently cited as more adult-friendly than the Lexus LX, making it a superior choice for large families who require all eight seats.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 3.5L twin-turbo V6 averages around 13.2 L/100km combined, though highway efficiency improves during steady-speed desert drives. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from a cooling system and air conditioning calibration designed specifically for 50°C summers, a major factor in maintaining resale value locally. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Lincoln’s authorized service network is well-established across the UAE and major GCC cities, ensuring parts availability and professional maintenance. The Navigator holds its value well in the luxury SUV segment, typically seeing more stable depreciation than European counterparts.

Performance & Capability

The 450 hp twin-turbo engine allows this large SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, a remarkable feat for a vehicle of this size. It features a sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system with selectable Drive Modes, including a dedicated setting for slippery surfaces like sand or gravel. With a maximum braked towing capacity of 3,765 kg when properly equipped, it is more than capable of hauling large boats or trailers for weekend adventures. The 10-speed automatic transmission ensures the engine stays in its power band, providing effortless acceleration even when fully loaded with eight passengers.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed as a sanctuary, featuring acoustic laminated glass and active noise control to isolate passengers from the outside environment. Both the front and second-row seats offer ventilation, a critical feature for the GCC climate, while the three-zone climate control ensures the rear rows stay cool during peak summer heat. Technology is at the forefront with a digital cockpit and a premium Revel audio system that delivers concert-quality sound. The 8-seat layout is versatile, with power-folding rear seats that allow you to transition from a school run to a cargo hauler in seconds.

Safety

This Navigator is equipped with the comprehensive Co-Pilot360 suite, which includes essential GCC-driving aids like Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert and lane-keeping assist. The 360-degree camera system is vital for maneuvering this large SUV in tight urban parking areas in Dubai or Riyadh. Standard safety features also include Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, providing an extra layer of protection during fast-moving highway traffic. The vehicle’s heavy-duty frame and multiple airbags ensure it remains one of the safest family vehicles in the segment.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who needs maximum seating and towing capacity without sacrificing flagship luxury, this Silver Reserve trim is a high-value opportunity that is perfectly spec'd for the regional climate.
