Summary

This 2022 CLS450 offers a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new executive four-door coupe with remarkably low mileage for the UAE market. Finished in white, the most preferred color for resale in the GCC, this American-spec model features the aggressive AMG styling package as standard for the 2022 refresh. It stands out from rivals by blending the sleek silhouette of a coupe with the all-weather confidence of 4Matic all-wheel drive. For a buyer in the Emirates, this represents a significant saving over a showroom-fresh model while maintaining that new-car feel. The 3.0L inline-six powertrain is widely regarded for its smoothness, making it an ideal companion for high-speed highway commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

This Car vs Other 2022 CLS450s

With just 4,300 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 20,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. While it is an American-spec car, its nearly-new condition and popular white exterior make it a highly competitive alternative to locally-sourced examples. The extremely low mileage serves as a major advantage, ensuring the mechanical components and interior surfaces remain in pristine, original state.

AMG-KIT vs Lower Trims

For the 2022 model year, the AMG Line styling became standard, providing this car with a more muscular front apron, signature star-pattern grille, and 19-inch AMG twin 5-spoke wheels. Inside, the trim adds a flat-bottom Nappa leather steering wheel with capacitive sensors and brushed stainless steel pedals. These high-value aesthetic upgrades are highly sought after in the secondary market, helping the car maintain a premium presence over older or non-AMG equipped models.

CLS450 vs Segment Rivals

The CLS450 competes directly with the Audi A7 and BMW 840i Gran Coupe, leading the group in cabin technology through the intuitive MBUX interface and dual 12.3-inch screens. Its 80-litre fuel tank is specifically beneficial for long-distance regional travel, offering a superior highway range compared to some smaller-tanked rivals. The inclusion of a 48-volt mild-hybrid EQ Boost system provides smoother stop-start transitions in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.0L mild-hybrid powertrain averages approximately 9.8 L/100km combined, offering respectable efficiency for a large executive sedan. Mercedes-Benz maintains one of the most comprehensive authorized service networks across the UAE and the wider GCC, ensuring parts availability is never a concern. While American-spec vehicles typically see a different depreciation curve than GCC-spec units, the low mileage and high equipment level of this specific car help mitigate the initial value drop.

Performance & Capability

The 367 hp inline-six engine delivers a factory-quoted 0–100 km/h time of 4.8 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE motorways. The 4Matic all-wheel-drive system ensures maximum traction during the rare but heavy regional rainstorms, while the 9G-Tronic transmission keeps revs low for quiet, high-speed cruising. Five distinct drive modes, including Sport+, allow the driver to sharpen the suspension and throttle response for a more engaging experience on winding roads like Jebel Hafeet.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of modern luxury, featuring 64-color ambient lighting and premium leather upholstery that remains cool even in the peak of the GCC summer. Standard heated front seats and dual-zone climate control ensure a comfortable environment, while the acoustic insulation effectively shuts out wind noise during high-speed desert drives. The specialized AMG interior elements, including the sportier seat bolstering, provide excellent support for long-distance cross-border journeys.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of active systems, including Blind Spot Assist and Forward Collision Mitigation, which are vital for navigating busy multi-lane highways. The car also features Mercedes' innovative Pre-Safe system, which prepares the cabin and occupants if an imminent collision is detected. Adaptive high-beam assist and standard LED lighting provide exceptional visibility for night driving on unlit desert roads between emirates.

The bottom line

This is the perfect choice for a professional looking for the prestige of a flagship Mercedes-Benz coupe with the practicality of four doors and the value of a low-mileage pre-owned import.
