Summary

This 2022 Nissan Kicks SV represents a balanced choice for urban commuters and small families in the GCC, offering a modern aesthetic in a standout Blue finish. As a four-year-old vehicle with average mileage for the region, it delivers the updated tech and safety features introduced in the late-generation refresh. The SV trim specifically adds convenience like remote engine start, which is essential for cooling the cabin during peak summer heat. Nissan's widespread presence across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures long-term maintenance is straightforward and affordable. For those seeking a fuel-efficient crossover that handles stop-start city traffic with ease while maintaining strong local resale value, this listing is a high-utility opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2022 Nissan Kickss

With 73,000 km over four years, this Kicks has seen typical GCC usage of roughly 18,250 km per year, which is well below the regional average of 20,000–25,000 km. The Blue exterior is a refreshing alternative to the standard silver or white seen on most listings, yet it remains a popular enough choice to maintain predictable resale interest. This specific model year benefits from the updated brand styling and improved interior materials compared to earlier first-generation units.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim is the 'sweet spot' for GCC buyers, adding significant upgrades over the base S model. It replaces the basic 7-inch unit with a larger 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen and trades the standard steel wheels for 17-inch aluminum alloys. Most importantly for the local climate, the SV includes remote engine start with intelligent climate control, allowing you to pre-cool the cabin before entering, along with adaptive cruise control for relaxed highway drives between emirates.

Kicks vs Segment Rivals

The Kicks leads the subcompact crossover segment in terms of urban agility and fuel economy, making it a more efficient alternative to the Chevrolet Groove or Kia Seltos. Its 1.6L engine is tuned for maximum efficiency in GCC city traffic, consistently outperforming rivals in real-world fuel costs. Additionally, the Kicks offers a more sophisticated suite of standard safety tech, such as rear automatic braking, which is often an expensive option in this class.

Running Costs & Resale

Expect highly competitive running costs with an official combined fuel consumption of approximately 6.1 L/100km. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and Nissan’s extensive authorized network across all major GCC cities ensures parts are readily available and competitively priced. The Kicks is one of the most searched-for crossovers in the UAE, resulting in a depreciation rate of roughly 8–10% annually, which is significantly better than its European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6L engine produces 118 hp, providing a zippy and responsive feel for navigating tight city streets and daily commutes. While front-wheel drive, the Kicks features a generous 178 mm ground clearance, making it capable of handling gravel tracks and speed bumps with ease. The Xtronic CVT is specifically tuned for smoothness, ensuring that long-distance drives from Dubai to Abu Dhabi remain quiet and composed.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for functionality and heat management, featuring automatic temperature control and rear ventilation ducts to keep all passengers comfortable during the summer months. The SV trim upgrades the interior with premium cloth upholstery and a dedicated center storage console with an armrest. Despite its compact footprint, it offers a surprisingly large 432-liter boot (with seats up), providing ample space for grocery runs or weekend staycation luggage.

Safety

Standard safety on the SV trim includes the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite, featuring blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert—both vital for fast-moving GCC highway traffic. It also includes intelligent cruise control and a drowsy driver monitor to enhance safety on long desert stretches. With 10 airbags and advanced braking systems including rear disc brakes, the Kicks provides top-tier protection for small families.

The bottom line

This GCC-spec Kicks SV is the ideal match for a professional or small family seeking a tech-forward, fuel-efficient crossover with a proven track record for reliability and resale in the local market.
