• 379 hp from a 3.0-litre flat-six
• Top speed of 293 km/h

Summary

This 4-year-old 911 Carrera offers an exceptional entry point into modern Porsche ownership with just 14,900 km, significantly below the typical GCC usage for a car of this age. Finished in Silver, it carries the most sought-after resale color in the regional market, ensuring strong value retention for its next owner. As a 992-generation model, it delivers the perfect balance of legendary rear-engine dynamics and daily-driver refinement that rivals from Mercedes-AMG or BMW struggle to match. For a buyer in the UAE, this European-spec coupe represents a mechanically pristine example that has clearly been treated as a weekend car rather than a daily commuter.

This Car vs Other 2022 911s

With just 14,900 km on the odometer, this car has covered less than 4,000 km per year, which is remarkably low compared to the GCC average of 20,000 km for premium sports cars. The Silver exterior is a premier resale choice in the UAE, resisting heat better than darker tones and maintaining a timeless appeal. Its European specification means it retains original performance tuning while remaining fully compatible with authorized service centers across the region.

CARRERA vs Lower Trims

As the foundational 992 trim, the Carrera features the same core 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six architecture found in the more expensive S models but tuned for smoother daily delivery. It comes standard with the 8-speed PDK transmission and the wide-body design that was previously reserved for all-wheel-drive models. This trim provides the essential 911 experience—rear-wheel drive and precise steering—without the track-stiffened suspension of higher tiers.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 leads the Mercedes-AMG GT and Audi R8 in everyday usability, offering a 2+2 seating configuration and a front trunk that is remarkably practical for a supercar. Its rear-engine layout provides a unique center of gravity that results in superior traction out of corners compared to front-engined rivals. Additionally, the 911's cooling systems are historically more robust for the high-speed, high-heat highway runs common between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 3.0-litre powertrain averages approximately 10.5 L/100km on combined cycles, though spirited city driving in stop-start traffic will see higher figures. The 911 remains the gold standard for value retention in the UAE, typically depreciating at just 10–12% annually compared to 15–20% for its European competitors. Authorized service centers are widely available across all major GCC cities, with minor oil services recommended every 10,000 km to account for the local climate.

Performance & Capability

The 379 hp output allows for a rapid 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.0 seconds, providing immediate overtaking power on fast-moving GCC highways. The 8-speed PDK transmission is widely regarded as the best dual-clutch system in the world, offering near-instant shifts that maintain momentum during aggressive driving. With a top speed of 293 km/h, this coupe is engineered for sustained high-performance cruising while remaining exceptionally stable thanks to its active aerodynamics.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 911 features a 4-seat layout with an interior designed to stay cool even during peak summer months. The dual-zone climate control is highly effective, and the cabin materials are specifically chosen for their durability under the intense UV exposure of the Gulf region. High-resolution digital displays flank the traditional central analog tachometer, providing a tech-forward environment that remains focused on the driver.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Wet Mode, a Porsche-first system that detects water on the road and adjusts the stability control and aerodynamics for maximum safety. The car is also equipped with multiple airbags and advanced collision mitigation systems that are vital for navigating busy multi-lane UAE traffic. High-performance braking systems come standard, ensuring short stopping distances even when decelerating from highway speeds.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a nearly-new 992-generation 911 with very low mileage and the best resale color in the market. It is the perfect choice for a GCC enthusiast who wants the prestige and performance of a modern Porsche without the depreciation hit of a brand-new showroom car.
