Summary

This 2022 Porsche Taycan Turbo offers a compelling balance of high-performance electric power and modern German luxury. With just 32,022 km, this sedan sits well below the typical annual mileage for used vehicles in the GCC, representing a fresh opportunity for local buyers. Finished in white, the most preferred color for resale in the region, it combines aesthetic appeal with strong long-term value retention. As a Turbo trim, it delivers supercar-tier acceleration while maintaining the refinement expected of a grand tourer. For the GCC owner, the advanced thermal management system ensures consistent performance even during peak summer temperatures.

This Car vs Other 2022 Taycans

At roughly 10,000 km driven per year, this Taycan is considered a low-mileage example compared to the GCC average of 20,000 km, ensuring the battery and chassis remain in peak condition. The Korean regional specification matches the technical high-voltage architecture of GCC models, though buyers should verify local navigation and connected-service compatibility. Its white exterior is a significant advantage for the local market, offering the best heat reflection and the highest resale demand.

Turbo vs Lower Trims

The Turbo trim is a major step up from the 4S and GTS, adding the larger 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus and high-power inverters as standard for a total of 680 hp. It upgrades the cabin experience with 14-way adjustable comfort seats and a premium 14-speaker Bose Surround Sound system that outclasses the standard audio found in lower tiers. Additionally, the Turbo features larger surface-coated brakes and standard adaptive air suspension, providing a noticeably more composed ride through varied city and highway conditions.

Taycan vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Tesla Model S Plaid may offer higher peak power, the Taycan leads in repeatable performance and high-speed stability, essential for fast-moving UAE highways. Its 800-volt architecture allows for faster sustained charging at 270 kW compared to many luxury competitors, reducing downtime at public fast-chargers like those in the DEWA or ADPower networks. The interior craftsmanship and tactile feedback of the Taycan remain the benchmark for the luxury EV segment, surpassing the minimalist approach of its American rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Electric running costs are significantly lower than petrol equivalents in the GCC, with an official efficiency rating of 22.9 kWh/100 km. Service intervals for the Taycan are generally every 30,000 km or two years, focusing on cabin filters, brake fluid, and coolant checks rather than intensive mechanical work. Porsche retains approximately 65% of its value after three years in the GCC, performing better than most luxury EV counterparts due to high brand prestige and a robust regional authorized service network.

Performance & Capability

The Taycan Turbo delivers a blistering 0–100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h, enabled by its unique two-speed rear transmission. The all-wheel-drive system provides exceptional grip, allowing for confident high-speed overtaking on the E11 and E311 highways. Despite its sports car DNA, the adaptive air suspension can raise the vehicle to clear speed bumps and steep underground parking ramps common in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Comfort & Cabin

The four-seat cabin is a driver-focused environment featuring a 16.8-inch curved digital instrument cluster and a secondary touchscreen for climate controls. Standard 4-zone climate control and high-quality cabin insulation ensure the interior remains a sanctuary from the intense GCC heat. The luggage compartments, totaling 489 liters between the front and rear, offer sufficient space for weekend road trips between Emirates or cross-border travel.

Safety

The 2022 Taycan carries a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating and features a comprehensive suite of driver aids including Lane Keep Assist, Warn and Brake Assist, and ParkAssist with a reversing camera. Its sophisticated stability control system is specifically tuned for electric torque delivery, maintaining composure on sandy or rain-slicked road surfaces. Porsche's high-strength steel-aluminum hybrid body provides maximum structural integrity for high-speed highway commuting.

The bottom line

Perfect for the executive who demands sports car thrills without sacrificing daily luxury, this low-mileage Taycan Turbo is a highly resilient investment in the growing GCC electric market.
