Summary

This 2022 Toyota C-HR VX is a standout choice for urban drivers in the GCC, offering a perfect balance of low annual mileage and premium features. Finished in a high-resale Grey, this VX trim provides the upgraded tech and comfort essential for the region's climate. The model's unique coupe-crossover styling separates it from more conservative rivals, while Toyota's legendary reliability ensures low ownership stress. For a buyer seeking a stylish, efficient daily driver with proven long-term value in the UAE market, this is a top-tier opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2022 Toyota C-HRs

With just over 51,000 km, this C-HR has been driven significantly less than the average GCC annual usage of 20,000–25,000 km. The Grey exterior is one of the strongest resale colors in the local market, ensuring it maintains its value better than more niche shades. Its status as a GCC-spec vehicle also provides full compatibility with local service centers and better climate protection compared to imported specs.

VX vs Lower Trims

The VX trim is the premium tier for the GCC, adding crucial luxury and safety features not found on the entry-level GXL. Key upgrades include leather upholstery, a larger infotainment display, and an advanced blind-spot monitoring system that is essential for UAE's fast-moving multi-lane highways. It also features upgraded alloy wheels and dual-zone climate control as standard.

C-HR vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Nissan Kicks or Kia Sonet, the C-HR leads with its superior build quality and higher residual values in the secondary market. While rivals may offer more utilitarian space, the C-HR offers a more refined driving experience and a more distinctive design. Toyota’s cooling systems are also widely considered the most robust for handling 45°C+ summer peaks.

Running Costs & Resale

Toyota vehicles in the GCC typically experience some of the lowest depreciation rates, often losing just 8–10% annually compared to 15% for European rivals. Fuel efficiency is a major strength, with the 4-cylinder engine designed for stop-start city traffic and long highway commutes between Emirates. Service intervals are standardized at 10,000 km, and the vast Al-Futtaim network ensures parts are always readily available.

Performance & Capability

The C-HR is tuned for urban agility, offering a tight turning circle that makes it ideal for navigating crowded Dubai and Riyadh parking structures. While designed for the road, its ground clearance allows it to handle gravel paths and speed humps more comfortably than a standard hatchback. The automatic transmission is optimized for smooth power delivery during high-speed highway merging.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the VX trim offers a driver-centric cockpit with high-quality soft-touch materials and 5-seat capacity. The air conditioning system is specifically engineered for the Middle East, delivering rapid cabin cooling even after the car has been parked in direct sunlight. The 377-litre boot provides ample space for grocery runs and weekend trips, expandable via the 60/40 split rear seats.

Safety

Safety is a priority with the VX trim’s standard suite including multiple airbags and stability control. Active safety features like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert provide essential assistance on busy regional highways. The car’s rigid chassis and 5-star safety pedigree offer peace of mind for family use in all GCC driving conditions.

The bottom line

Perfect for the style-conscious professional, this low-mileage VX trim offers the best of Toyota’s reliability with a premium equipment list that makes it a smart, high-value investment in today’s market.
