Summary

This 3-year-old Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio brings Ferrari-derived performance to a practical SUV body, featuring a potent 510 hp 2.9L V6. With just over 50,000 km, its mileage sits slightly above the expected GCC average for a high-performance vehicle, yet it remains mechanically robust for highway use. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the UAE, offering a stealthy look that complements its aggressive aerodynamics. As a GCC spec model, it benefits from a cooling system optimized for the region's heat and a full infotainment suite ready for local navigation. For the buyer who wants the soul of a sports car without sacrificing family utility, this listing represents a sharp opportunity in the performance SUV market.

This Car vs Other 2023 Stelvios

With 50,036 km on the odometer, this Stelvio has seen more of the open road than typical 'garage queens' of this year, but it reflects the standard 20,000 km annual average for daily drivers in the UAE. The Black paint is a top-tier choice for resale value in the GCC, maintaining its appeal far better than niche colors. Being a 2023 model, it includes the refined interior updates and matrix LED lighting introduced for this model year.

QUADRIFOGLIO vs Lower Trims

The Quadrifoglio is a complete mechanical departure from the Veloce or Ti trims, replacing the 2.0L four-cylinder with a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 and a carbon-fiber driveshaft. It adds essential high-speed hardware including an active torque-vectoring rear differential, a performance-tuned AWD system, and a dedicated 'Race' mode. Inside, you receive carbon-fiber interior trim, leather-and-Alcantara sports seats, and the premium Harman Kardon audio system as standard.

Stelvio vs Segment Rivals

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio leads rivals like the BMW X3 M and Porsche Macan GTS in terms of pure power-to-weight ratio, utilizing lightweight aluminum body panels to enhance agility. Its steering is notably quicker and more communicative than the X3 M, providing a more car-like feel on winding roads. While German rivals offer more complex digital interfaces, the Alfa focuses on a driver-centric layout that minimizes distractions during high-speed GCC highway cruises.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption averages approximately 11.8 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC city traffic will see this figure rise; high-octane 98 RON fuel is highly recommended to protect the twin-turbo engine. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, with authorized centers well-established across the UAE and wider GCC. While European performance SUVs depreciate faster than Japanese luxury cars, the Quadrifoglio's rarity and Ferrari-derived engine help it maintain a loyal enthusiast following at the 3-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The headline is the 510 hp output, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in a blistering 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 283 km/h. The Q4 All-Wheel Drive system is rear-biased for a traditional sports car feel but can send up to 50% of torque to the front wheels in milliseconds to maintain grip during sudden maneuvers. The active suspension ensures the vehicle remains stable during high-speed overtaking on the E11 while providing enough compliance for daily city commutes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for comfort in the GCC climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system and rear air vents to keep all five passengers cool. The 8.8-inch touchscreen is intuitive and supports wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto for seamless connectivity. The 14-speaker Harman Kardon system provides 900 watts of power, ensuring clear audio even over the raucous note of the sports exhaust.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this Quadrifoglio includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Keep Assist, all of which are invaluable for fast-paced highway driving in the UAE. It also features Forward Collision Warning with Full Stop and a 360-degree camera system to assist with tight parking in city malls. These active systems, combined with a 5-star Euro NCAP heritage, provide peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who needs a practical 5-seater but refuses to give up the thrill of a supercar engine, this GCC-spec 2023 Quadrifoglio is the definitive choice.
