Summary

This 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio is a masterclass in performance SUVs, offering a Ferrari-derived engine in a chassis that handles with the precision of a sports sedan. With its striking Gold finish—a rare and standout choice in the GCC market—it offers a unique alternative to the more common German rivals. This specific example carries average mileage for its age and benefits from the 2023 technical refinements that improved cabin tech and driver aids. For the GCC buyer, it delivers the perfect balance of family-sized practicality and the raw emotional power required for spirited weekend drives across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2023 Stelvio Quadrifoglios

With 46,263 km, this Stelvio has been used regularly but remains well within the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the region. The rare Gold exterior provides a distinct advantage for those looking to stand out in a sea of white and silver SUVs, while the GCC regional specification ensures the cooling systems and electronics are optimized for local heat cycles.

QUADRIFOGLIO vs Lower Trims

The Quadrifoglio is a complete mechanical departure from the Veloce trim, replacing the 4-cylinder engine with a 510 hp biturbo V6. It adds essential performance hardware including a carbon fibre driveshaft, active torque vectoring, and the exclusive 'Race' mode. Inside, you gain carbon fibre interior trim, ultra-premium leather-bolstered sport seats, and the high-fidelity Harman Kardon audio system as standard.

Stelvio vs Segment Rivals

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is often favored over the BMW X3 M or Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 for its lighter curb weight and more direct, communicative steering. Its near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution provides a level of agility that many competitors in this segment struggle to match. While others focus on sheer tech, the Alfa leads with raw driving dynamics and a distinct Italian design language.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.9L V6 features cylinder deactivation to manage fuel consumption during highway cruising between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km at authorized Gargash or regional service centers. While Italian performance SUVs experience higher initial depreciation than Japanese brands, the Quadrifoglio's status as a flagship ensures it retains a dedicated enthusiast following in the UAE used market.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is the 3.8-second 0–100 km/h sprint, supported by a lightning-fast Q4 all-wheel-drive system. On the open highways of the GCC, the Stelvio feels exceptionally planted at high speeds, while the Brembo braking system provides immense stopping power. The active suspension allows you to soften the ride for daily commuting or stiffen it for technical mountain roads like Jebel Jais.

Comfort & Cabin

Despite its performance focus, the cabin is built for the GCC climate with a powerful dual-zone climate control system and rear vents to keep all five passengers cool. The 8.8-inch touchscreen includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless navigation across the region. High-quality insulation helps isolate the cabin from road noise and desert heat during long cross-border drives.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Adaptive Cruise Control, which are vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic. The Q4 AWD system further enhances safety by providing superior traction on sand-blown tarmac or during occasional heavy rain.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for an enthusiast who needs an SUV for family duties but refuses to sacrifice the thrill of a supercar-tuned engine. Its unique color and solid maintenance history make it one of the most compelling Quadrifoglio listings currently available in the GCC.
