Summary

This 2023 Bentayga in the wellness-focused Azure trim represents a highly desirable find in the GCC market, combining ultra-luxury with the rare seven-seat configuration. With mileage that reflects typical executive use across the Emirates, it remains mechanically fresh for a vehicle engineered to handle high-speed trans-continental travel. The Black exterior is a perennially strong resale choice in the region, ensuring better value retention than more eccentric shades. While rivals focus solely on speed, the Azure trim adds specific comfort technologies that make the extreme GCC summer far more manageable for all seven occupants. It is a versatile masterpiece that transitions seamlessly from a high-status city commuter to a refined family tourer for long-distance desert highway runs.

This Car vs Other 2023 Bentaygas

At 70,500 km, this vehicle has been driven slightly more than the global average but sits comfortably within the expected range for GCC-based executive SUVs, where long highway commutes between emirates are standard. Unlike many pre-owned examples that feature the standard five-seat bench, this listing includes the optional third row, significantly increasing its utility and appeal for families. The Black-on-Black color combination is the most sought-after pairing in the secondary market here, providing a distinct advantage when it comes time to trade in.

AZURE vs Lower Trims

The Azure trim is a significant step up from the base V8, specifically designed to enhance cabin serenity and passenger wellness. It introduces the Touring Specification as standard, adding essential GCC driving aids like Night Vision and a Head-Up Display. Inside, it adds the Front Seat Comfort Specification with six-setting massage functions and ventilated seats, alongside the Bentley Dynamic Ride system, which uses 48V electric anti-roll bars to keep the car perfectly level through corners without compromising the plush ride quality.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

While the Lamborghini Urus offers raw aggression and the Range Rover Autobiography provides traditional British luxury, the Bentayga Azure occupies a unique middle ground of hand-built craftsmanship and effortless V8 torque. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long-distance drives across the GCC compared to more sport-focused rivals. Furthermore, the inclusion of a genuine seven-seat option gives it a practical edge over the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Aston Martin DBX, which are strictly limited to five or four seats.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the twin-turbo V8 typically averages around 13.0 L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the full support of Bentley’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts availability and technician expertise. Bentley models in the GCC generally see a depreciation of roughly 15-18% annually, but the Azure trim’s high equipment level and the popular black finish help it retain a higher percentage of its value compared to base-spec imports.

Performance & Capability

The 4.0L V8 produces a massive 770 Nm of torque, allowing this large SUV to reach a top speed of 290 km/h with deceptive ease. On the fast-moving motorways of the UAE, this translates to effortless overtaking power and a hushed cabin even at sustained cruising speeds. The permanent all-wheel-drive system and selectable terrain modes ensure it remains composed on gravel tracks or sandy approach roads during weekend escapes. Despite its size, the standard All-Wheel Steering makes navigating tight city parking and underground garages remarkably simple.

Comfort & Cabin

The Azure interior is defined by Harmony Diamond Quilt leather and a focus on acoustic insulation to shut out the GCC heat and road noise. The four-zone climate control system is exceptionally powerful, featuring dedicated vents and controls for rear passengers to ensure rapid cooling during the summer months. With seven seats, the cabin is highly flexible, allowing the third row to fold flat for a generous 484-litre boot when not in use. The panoramic sunroof features a high-grade electric blind that effectively blocks UV rays and heat soak during midday drives.

Safety

This Azure trim is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including a 360-degree camera system, which is vital for maneuvering a vehicle of this scale. The included Touring Specification adds Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist, and Traffic Assist, providing a semi-autonomous driving experience that reduces fatigue on long desert stretches. Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert provide essential protection in fast-moving multi-lane highway traffic, while the Bentley Safeguard system constantly monitors for potential frontal collisions.

The bottom line

For the buyer who requires the prestige of a Bentley but needs the practical seating of a family SUV, this GCC-spec Azure is the perfect solution. Its high-demand color and premium trim level make it a secure investment in the regional luxury market.
