Summary

This 2023 Bentley Bentayga Azure represents the ultimate high-specification choice for a buyer seeking wellness-focused luxury without sacrificing the punch of a twin-turbo V8. As an Azure trim, it features a more sophisticated aesthetic than the standard model, finished in a resale-strong Blue that remains highly desirable in the GCC. While the mileage reflects active use, its maintenance at authorized Bentley service centers across the region ensures the hand-assembled powertrain remains in peak condition for cross-emirate travel. The Azure distinguishes itself with superior cabin refinement and noise insulation, making it the premier executive SUV for managing the GCC’s long highway commutes in total serenity.

This Car vs Other 2023 Bentaygas

With 122,586 km, this vehicle has seen more highway use than the typical garage-kept Bentley in the UAE, but it offers a significantly more attractive entry point into a current-generation Azure trim. The Blue exterior is a high-demand color in the regional used market, often commanding faster turnaround and better value retention than more unconventional shades. Its GCC specification is a vital advantage, ensuring the cooling systems and warranty-readiness are fully optimized for the extreme local climate.

Azure vs Lower Trims

The Azure trim is a substantial upgrade over the base Bentayga, specifically focusing on passenger wellbeing and effortless travel. It adds the Front Seat Comfort Specification as standard, including 22-way adjustable seats with massage functions and ventilation—essentials for GCC summers. You also gain the Touring Specification, which equips the car with a Head-Up Display, Night Vision, and Adaptive Cruise Control for safer long-distance driving between cities.

Bentayga vs Segment Rivals

The Bentayga Azure competes directly with the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Range Rover Autobiography, leading with a more driver-focused chassis thanks to its active anti-roll bars. Its 85-litre fuel tank provides a considerable cruising range for regional road trips to Oman or Saudi Arabia. While rivals focus solely on softness, the Bentley offers a 'Bentley Mode' suspension setting that perfectly balances the plush ride required in Dubai with the high-speed stability needed on the E11 highway.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V8 averages around 13.0 L/100km on a combined cycle, though GCC city traffic may see this rise. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and with the extensive Al Habtoor and Al Wajba networks across the UAE and Qatar, expert care is always accessible. The Bentayga holds its value well for a super-luxury SUV, typically depreciating 12–15% annually in the GCC, with the Azure trim being particularly resilient due to its high standard equipment levels.

Performance & Capability

The 550 hp twin-turbo V8 delivers a top speed of 290 km/h, ensuring effortless overtaking even at highway speeds. This model features All-Wheel Steering as part of the Azure package, which significantly reduces the turning circle, making it surprisingly nimble in tight urban areas like Downtown Dubai. The permanent Four-Wheel Drive system and adjustable air suspension allow for light desert sand navigation, though its primary strength is high-speed, long-distance refinement.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of Bentley’s 'Harmony' diamond-quilted leather and thick acoustic glass, specifically designed to keep the GCC's heat and road noise outside. This 5-seat configuration provides ample legroom for rear passengers who benefit from their own dedicated climate zone and pillar-mounted vents. The inclusion of the 20-speaker Naim for Bentley audio system and six-setting massage seats transforms every journey into a first-class experience.

Safety

This Bentayga Azure comes equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite tailored for high-speed safety, including Lane Assist and Blind Spot Warning to navigate multi-lane GCC traffic. The Night Vision system is particularly useful for detecting hazards on unlit desert roads, while the 360-degree camera system makes parking this large SUV effortless. Electronic Stability Control and an advanced anti-roll system provide exceptional grip on both sand-dusted asphalt and gravel surfaces.

The bottom line

For the executive buyer who values wellness and cabin serenity above all else, this high-spec Azure is the most refined way to navigate the GCC's highways.
