Summary

This 2023 Bestune T99 Deluxe represents a compelling middle-ground for UAE buyers seeking executive-level presence without the premium brand overhead. With mileage sitting significantly below the 25,000 km annual GCC average, this vehicle offers a nearly-new mechanical profile. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring it maintains a sharp visual profile on city streets while supporting strong future resale value. As a GCC-spec model, it is fully optimized for the region's intense heat and high-speed highway requirements. This specific listing provides a rare opportunity to own a modern flagship SUV with minimal wear and verified regional suitability.

This Car vs Other 2023 Bestune T99s

With just over 36,000 km, this T99 has been driven far less than the typical 50,000 km expected for a two-year-old vehicle in the UAE. The black exterior remains one of the most liquid colors in the GCC used market, often commanding a quicker sale and better price retention than brighter alternatives. Buyers will find this example to be in superior mechanical standing compared to higher-mileage regional units currently listed.

DELUXE vs Lower Trims

The Deluxe trim serves as the sophisticated entry point into the flagship T99 range, providing standard leather seating and a panoramic sunroof that lower crossover segments often lack. It features the essential dual 12.3-inch digital displays and ambient lighting, giving it an interior atmosphere comparable to premium European rivals. Choosing the Deluxe ensures you get the full-size SUV presence and turbo power without paying for the complex autonomous extras found in the Limousine trim.

T99 vs Segment Rivals

The T99 competes directly with the MG RX8 and GAC GS8, leading the way with a distinctive 'digital raindrop' grille and a wheelbase that rivals more expensive executive SUVs. Its 60-litre fuel tank and 14.1 km/L efficiency make it a more practical choice for long-distance driving between Emirates compared to some naturally aspirated competitors. The cabin insulation and dual-screen layout offer a more modern digital experience than many established Japanese rivals in this price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at a combined 14.1 km/L, which remains competitive for a mid-size SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Bestune has rapidly established an authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with parts availability significantly better than niche import brands. Historically, the T99 shows stable value retention for a Chinese flagship, typically depreciating around 15% annually in the local market. Maintenance intervals are standardized at 10,000 km, making it a predictable and budget-friendly vehicle to keep on the road.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produces 224 hp and 340 Nm of torque, providing plenty of muscle for high-speed overtaking on the E11. Power is delivered through a smooth automatic transmission, specifically tuned for the flat, fast highways typical of the region. While it is a road-biased front-wheel-drive SUV, the 192 mm ground clearance is more than enough to handle gravel tracks and weekend trips to the Wadi areas. Driving modes including Sport and Eco allow you to tailor the engine response to city commuting or open highway cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat layout is focused on maximizing legroom, offering a spacious second row that comfortably fits three adults for long road trips. GCC buyers will appreciate the high-output automatic climate control and rear AC vents, which are essential for maintaining comfort during the summer months. The panoramic sunroof features a high-quality thermal tint to allow light into the cabin without excessive heat soak. Premium leather touchpoints and wood-textured inserts provide a refined environment for both the driver and passengers.

Safety

The Deluxe trim is equipped with a robust safety package including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control, which are vital for maintaining grip on sandy or rain-slicked roads. Standard features include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist, and multiple airbags to protect all occupants. For highway driving, the inclusion of Cruise Control and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) provides essential peace of mind during long-distance desert transit.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants a low-mileage flagship SUV with a luxury feel and verified regional specs, this black T99 Deluxe is the smartest value-play currently on the market.
