Summary

This 2023 BMW 740i M Sport is a standout executive sedan, offering a near-new ownership experience with just 4,900 km on the odometer. Finished in a sophisticated Blue that commands high resale value in the UAE, this GCC-spec model provides the ideal balance of performance and prestige for the region’s fast-paced highways. Compared to the base 735i, the 740i delivers a significant power bump that ensures effortless overtaking on the E11. For the discerning buyer in the GCC, this listing represents a rare opportunity to secure the latest generation flagship with essentially delivery mileage, bypassing the initial depreciation curve while retaining full local warranty benefits.

This Car vs Other 2023 740is

With only 4,900 km, this vehicle is exceptionally low-mileage compared to the typical 20,000 km annual average for luxury sedans in the GCC. The Blue exterior is a sought-after choice in the UAE market, often fetching a premium over standard colors at resale. It presents as a pristine alternative to a new showroom model, having avoided the high-speed wear common in regional highway driving.

M Sport vs Lower Trims

The M Sport trim adds a sharper, more athletic presence over the Excellence line, featuring 20-inch M light alloy wheels and high-gloss shadow line trim. Inside, it upgrades the experience with an M leather steering wheel and Alcantara headlining, alongside standard high-tier tech like the 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and the illuminated BMW Iconic Glow grille. These features are highly prized by UAE buyers and significantly bolster the car's future trade-in value.

740i vs Segment Rivals

The 7 Series leads the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8 in cabin digitalization, featuring the massive 14.9-inch curved display and innovative Interaction Bar. Its 74-litre fuel tank is specifically suited for long-distance desert transits, offering a greater touring range than many competitors. The inclusion of a 48V mild-hybrid system provides smoother stop-start transitions in dense Dubai or Riyadh traffic, a distinct advantage over non-hybrid luxury rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 7.9L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may see figures closer to 11L/100km. BMW’s Condition Based Service (CBS) system typically triggers maintenance alerts every 10,000 to 12,000 km, with a robust authorized service network spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. As a GCC-spec 7 Series, it benefits from strong value retention, typically depreciating slower than imported American or European models due to local warranty and service contract compatibility.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-litre inline-six engine produces a verified 375 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 5.4 seconds. This power is managed by a smooth 8-speed Steptronic transmission and all-wheel drive, providing exceptional stability during high-speed highway cruises between emirates. The adaptive 2-axle air suspension automatically adjusts ride height, ensuring a cloud-like ride quality even on varied road surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of luxury, featuring four-zone automatic climate control specifically engineered to combat 45°C+ GCC summers. Passengers enjoy a spacious five-seat layout with multi-color ambient lighting and a panoramic glass roof that features LED inlays for a lounge-like evening atmosphere. Acoustic glazing ensures the interior remains pin-drop quiet, effectively insulating occupants from the heat and noise of city traffic.

Safety

This trim is equipped with BMW's comprehensive ADAS suite, including Forward Collision Warning with automatic braking and Blind-Spot Warning, which is vital for the multi-lane highway environments of the UAE. It also features an automated parking system and 360° sensors to assist in navigating tight urban parking spaces. The 48V mild-hybrid system further enhances safety by providing instantaneous response for critical overtaking maneuvers.

The bottom line

Perfect for the executive who demands flagship technology and a sportier aesthetic, this ultra-low-mileage 740i M Sport offers a significant saving over new while remaining in showroom condition.
