Summary

This 2023 BMW M4 Competition xDrive is a standout opportunity for GCC performance enthusiasts, combining massive horsepower with the confidence of all-wheel drive. With mileage well under the typical annual average for the region, this coupe remains in its mechanical prime and represents a significant saving over new showroom prices. The White exterior is a top-tier resale color in the UAE, known for its ability to handle the intense summer heat while holding value better than darker shades. This model bridges the gap between a focused track machine and a daily-drivable luxury GT, making it ideal for the high-speed, multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. For a buyer seeking the ultimate current-generation M car with low usage, this American-spec example offers an incredible performance-to-value ratio.

This Car vs Other 2023 M4s

At 14,972 km, this vehicle sits significantly below the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typically seen in the GCC market for three-year-old cars. This low mileage indicates a life of limited use, likely as a secondary weekend car, which is a major advantage for engine and transmission longevity. The Alpine White finish is the most practical and sought-after resale color in the region, ensuring the cabin stays cooler during the peak of summer.

COMPETITION vs Lower Trims

The Competition trim is a substantial leap over the standard M4, boosting the S58 engine output from 473 hp to 510 hp and replacing the manual gearbox with a rapid-shifting 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. Crucially, this xDrive variant adds the intelligent all-wheel-drive system, which is essential for putting that power down effectively on the sand-dusted asphalt often found in the UAE. It also standardizes the Extended Shadowline trim and staggered 19/20-inch M forged wheels that give the car its aggressive stance.

M4 vs Segment Rivals

The M4 Competition leads the Mercedes-AMG C63 and Audi RS5 with its highly customizable M Setup, allowing drivers to store two unique performance profiles on the steering wheel M-buttons. While rivals have transitioned toward smaller engines or hybrid setups, the BMW maintains its iconic straight-six character which is highly prized by local collectors. Its 440-litre boot space also makes it a more practical choice for weekend trips between emirates compared to the more cramped Porsche 911.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 10.4 L/100km on a combined cycle, though highway cruising between cities can be more efficient. BMW's Condition Based Service (CBS) system typically prompts for maintenance every 12,000–15,000 km in the UAE, with a vast network of authorized centers and independent M-specialists available across the GCC. While American-spec vehicles may not carry a local agency warranty, parts availability is excellent across Dubai and Sharjah, and the M4 model remains one of the slowest-depreciating luxury coupes in the region.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is a blistering 0–100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds, enabled by the xDrive system's incredible off-the-line traction. On the long desert highways connecting the emirates, the 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque provide effortless overtaking capability at any speed. Drivers can also switch the drivetrain into a pure rear-wheel-drive mode for a more traditional sports car experience, while the adaptive M suspension keeps the ride composed even on less-perfect surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features M Sport seats with heated functionality and a 14.9-inch curved display running the latest iDrive system with seamless Apple CarPlay integration. The multi-zone automatic climate control is specifically engineered to combat high ambient temperatures, ensuring the interior remains ice-cold even in 45-degree heat. A standard Harman Kardon surround-sound system provides high-fidelity audio that remains clear above the aggressive exhaust note during long-distance drives.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite including Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning, which are vital for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. The 360-degree camera and parking sensors simplify maneuvering this wide coupe in tight city parking. Standard Active Blind Spot Detection provides an extra layer of security during lane changes on busy multi-lane roads like Sheikh Zayed Road.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to own a low-mileage 2023 M4 Competition xDrive that is perfectly specced for the GCC climate. It is the ideal choice for the enthusiast who wants supercar-slaying performance without sacrificing daily luxury.
