Summary

This 2023 Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody stands out as a high-value collector opportunity, representing the final production year for this legendary HEMI-powered generation. With just 16,000 km, it has significantly lower mileage than the typical 25,000 km annual average seen on GCC highways, ensuring a mechanically fresh ownership experience. The bold Green exterior is a sought-after shade for enthusiasts in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering stronger resale appeal than standard rental-fleet white. As a GCC-spec model, this vehicle is fully optimized with high-performance cooling systems designed to handle the region's extreme summer heat without the potential warranty or radio frequency issues found in North American imports.

This Car vs Other 2023 Challengers

With only 16,000 km on the clock, this Challenger sits comfortably in the 'low mileage' category for the GCC market, where long-distance commutes are a daily reality. While many 2023 models are already crossing the 30,000 km mark, this example remains in near-new mechanical condition. The specific Green factory finish is a standout for resale, as enthusiast-spec colors often command a premium over silver or black in the local pre-owned muscle car market.

RT SCAT PACK WIDE BODY vs Lower Trims

The Scat Pack Widebody is a massive leap over the standard R/T, replacing the 5.7L engine with a more potent 6.4L 392 HEMI. It adds standard features that GCC drivers value for high-speed stability, including the iconic fender flares, 305/35R20 Pirelli performance tires, and 6-piston Brembo front brakes. Inside, this trim typically upgrades to the 8.4-inch Uconnect system with SRT Performance Pages, allowing you to monitor engine vitals during hot desert drives.

Challenger vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Ford Mustang GT or Chevrolet Camaro SS, the Challenger offers a much more usable interior with a genuine five-seat capacity, making it a better choice for small families in the region. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically beneficial for cross-border trips between the Emirates and Oman, providing superior highway range. Additionally, the Challenger's large trunk capacity outperforms its rivals, accommodating larger shopping loads or travel luggage with ease.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.5 L/100km, though this can climb in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh when utilizing the V8's power. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km at authorized Mopar centers, which are widely available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The 2023 model year holds exceptional value retention as the 'Last Call' series, and GCC-spec models traditionally depreciate at a slower rate (roughly 10-12% annually) compared to imported American-spec equivalents.

Performance & Capability

The 485 hp HEMI V8 delivers a documented 0–100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway. The Widebody package isn't just for looks; it widens the track to improve cornering grip and high-speed stability. Drivers can toggle through SRT Drive Modes—including Sport and Track—to adjust the steering weight and transmission mapping for different road conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring bolstered performance seats that are well-suited for the expansive highway networks of the GCC. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard and calibrated for the high thermal loads of the Middle East, while the cabin's insulation provides a quiet ride despite the aggressive exhaust note. The rear seats offer significantly more legroom than its rivals, ensuring passengers remain comfortable during weekend road trips.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a suite of safety systems essential for the GCC's fast-paced road environment, including Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection. The heavy-duty 4-wheel disc Brembo brakes ensure reliable stopping power even in high-temperature conditions. Electronic Stability Control with All-Speed Traction Control provides vital assistance when navigating sandy or dusty road surfaces common during the summer months.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a GCC buyer to secure the final iteration of the V8 Challenger in a rare color with exceptionally low mileage. It offers the perfect balance of daily usability and future collectibility in the regional market.
