Summary

This 2023 Ferrari F8 Spider represents the final chapter of Ferrari’s purely internal combustion mid-engine V8 lineage, making it a highly significant acquisition for collectors in the GCC. With delivery mileage of just 20 km, this example is effectively a new vehicle, offering a pristine entry into one of the most celebrated performance cars of the last decade. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, ensuring excellent heat management and strong resale liquidity in a market that prioritizes this classic palette. It offers a more visceral, engine-focused experience than its hybrid successors, perfectly suited for the open stretches of the UAE’s highway network. For the serious enthusiast, this is an opportunity to own a landmark Ferrari in its most versatile open-top form.

This Car vs Other 2023 F8 Spiders

With only 20 km on the odometer, this vehicle stands far below the typical 5,000–8,000 km found on high-end Spiders of this age in the GCC. While most 2023 models have seen weekend use or scenic coastal drives, this is a delivery-mileage example that offers a 'day one' ownership experience. The white finish is a high-demand primary color in the local market, traditionally holding value better than more niche enthusiast shades.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The F8 Spider is a single-trim model, but this example comes equipped with the essential carbon-ceramic braking system and Manettino dial standard. It carries the refined Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1 system, which provides significantly better electronic intervention on sandy or low-grip road surfaces compared to the previous 488 generation. As a late-production 2023 model, it benefits from the final refinements in cabin software and component assembly before the model's discontinuation.

F8 Spider vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the McLaren 720S Spider, the Ferrari offers a more emotional engine note and a higher-revving character that resonates better with GCC traditionalists. While the Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder relies on a naturally aspirated V10, the F8’s twin-turbocharged torque delivery provides superior mid-range punch for overtaking on high-speed arterial roads like E11. Its retractable hardtop offers better thermal insulation and cabin quietness during the peak summer months than soft-top competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages approximately 13.0 L/100km, though this will increase in stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh. As a non-GCC spec ('Other') vehicle, buyers should verify service plan portability at authorized centers like Al Tayer or Fast Auto, though parts availability remains excellent across the region. The F8 Spider has demonstrated exceptional value retention, typically depreciating at a lower annual rate of roughly 6-8% compared to double-digit declines for its primary British rivals.

Performance & Capability

The 720 hp V8 delivers a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 2.9 seconds, assisted by a lightning-fast 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The mid-engine layout provides 41.5/58.5 weight distribution, ensuring the car remains balanced and communicative during high-speed cornering at Yas Marina or through the Jebel Jais mountain passes. With a top speed of 340 km/h, it remains one of the fastest open-top production cars ever to grace GCC roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The two-seat cockpit is built around the driver, featuring the signature Ferrari steering wheel with integrated indicators and LED shift lights. The retractable hardtop operates in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h, allowing for quick transitions when the sun sets during evening drives. The dual-zone climate control is specifically engineered to maintain cabin temperatures even with the roof stowed, and the 200-litre front trunk provides enough space for a weekend getaway between Emirates.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes high-performance carbon-ceramic discs that provide fade-free stopping power even in extreme desert heat. The Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer (FDE+) works alongside the stability control to manage brake pressure at the calipers, providing an extra layer of security during spirited driving on varying road surfaces. Advanced front and side airbags, along with high-intensity LED lighting, ensure maximum visibility and protection during long-distance night drives across the desert.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to secure a delivery-mileage 2023 Ferrari F8 Spider in a high-resale color, serving as a perfect final-edition V8 for the discerning GCC collector.
