Highlights

• 700 hp from a 5.2-liter supercharged V8
• 333 mm maximum ground clearance

Summary

This GCC-spec Raptor R represents the pinnacle of performance in the regional pickup market, delivering supercar-rivaling speed in a body built for the toughest dunes. With its supercharged V8 and signature Blue finish—a highly sought-after shade for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia—this listing stands out from the standard V6 models commonly found. While the mileage reflects active use across the Emirates, it is consistent with the year for a vehicle designed to conquer both long highway stretches and weekend desert expeditions. The Predator engine provides a visceral driving experience that competitors cannot match, making it a rare and high-value opportunity for a GCC enthusiast. For the buyer who wants the absolute loudest and fastest factory truck available today, this is the definitive choice.

This Car vs Other 2023 F-150s

At 56,030 km, this truck has been enjoyed as a true daily driver, which is common for GCC-based owners who travel between cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While many standard F-150s of this year may have lower mileage, few offer the mechanical prestige and supercharged pedigree of the Raptor R. The Blue exterior is a premium choice in the local market, maintaining high desirability and value retention compared to more basic commercial white or grey variants.

RAPTOR R CREW vs Lower Trims

The Raptor R is a massive leap over the standard Raptor, most notably swapping the 3.5L V6 for the legendary 5.2L supercharged 'Predator' V8. Beyond the 250-horsepower increase, the R trim adds standard 37-inch BFGoodrich tires—only an option on lower trims—along with unique 'R' badging in Code Orange and a reinforced front axle to handle the massive torque. Inside, you get standard carbon fiber accents and Recaro seats that set it apart as the flagship performance model.

F-150 vs Segment Rivals

The primary rival in the GCC is the RAM 1500 TRX; while both offer supercharged power, the Ford is lighter and features the sophisticated Fox Live Valve suspension that provides superior high-speed stability in deep sand. Compared to the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, the Raptor R offers nearly double the horsepower and significantly more ground clearance for serious off-roading. The 136-liter fuel tank is a major advantage for long-range desert crossings where fuel stops are non-existent.

Running Costs & Resale

The supercharged V8 is thirsty, typically averaging 19.7 to 23.0 L/100km, which is a standard trade-off for this level of performance in the GCC. Ford has an extensive authorized service network via Al Tayer and Premier Motors in the UAE, and similar strong coverage in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts for the Raptor’s specialized suspension are readily available. This specific trim holds its value exceptionally well in the regional used market, often seeing much lower depreciation than European luxury SUVs due to its niche collector status.

Performance & Capability

With a blistering 0–60 mph time of 3.6 seconds, this truck accelerates harder than many dedicated sports cars on the road today. It features 333 mm (13.1 inches) of ground clearance and massive suspension travel—13 inches at the front and 14.1 inches at the rear—allowing it to glide over ruts that would stop other pickups. The selectable drive modes, including a dedicated 'Baja' mode, optimize the 10-speed automatic and active exhaust for high-speed desert running.

Comfort & Cabin

The SuperCrew cabin offers massive legroom for five adults, tailored for long road trips across the GCC borders. Standard ventilated front seats are essential for the 45°C summer heat, complemented by a powerful dual-zone climate control system that Ford is famous for in hot climates. The 12-inch digital cockpit and B&O Unleashed sound system provide a premium tech environment that balances the truck's rugged exterior capability.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite, featuring Blind Spot Monitoring which is vital for Dubai's fast-moving, multi-lane highways. Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Keeping Assist makes long desert drives significantly less fatiguing, while the 360-degree camera system is indispensable for parking such a wide vehicle in urban areas. High-strength steel skid plates and a suite of advanced stability controls ensure maximum protection during both high-speed highway cruising and technical off-road maneuvers.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who demands the ultimate V8 soundtrack and desert-dominating performance, this GCC-spec Raptor R is a high-spec, ready-to-drive icon that commands respect on any terrain.
