INEOS Grenadier FIELDMASTER EDITION | GCC Spec | with Warranty

Highlights

• 3,500 kg braked towing capacity
• 264 mm ground clearance
• 90-litre fuel tank

Summary

This 2023 INEOS Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition represents a rare opportunity to own a purpose-built off-road icon with a mileage of 33,857 km, which is exceptionally low for a 3-year-old vehicle in the GCC where 25,000 km per year is common. Finished in a classic Blue that maintains strong resale appeal in the regional market, this Fieldmaster trim balances rugged utility with premium refinements like Safari windows and leather upholstery. While competitors often shift toward complex electronics, the Grenadier stands out with its heavy-duty beam axles and analog-focused cabin designed to survive the harshest desert environments. For the GCC buyer, the standard five-year unlimited mileage warranty provides significant peace of mind for both long-distance overland trips and daily urban use.

This Car vs Other 2023 Grenadiers

With only 33,857 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the typical 60,000–75,000 km expected for a 3-year-old car in the UAE. Its GCC regional specification ensures the cooling systems and air conditioning are factory-tuned for extreme summer heat, unlike imported European or North American models. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated alternative to the common white or silver, holding its value well due to its association with the launch-spec Fieldmaster aesthetic.

Fieldmaster Edition vs Lower Trims

The Fieldmaster Edition elevates the base Grenadier by adding high-value luxury features that GCC buyers prioritize, including the iconic Safari windows for additional natural light and leather upholstery for a more premium cabin feel. Unlike the base utility trim, this edition includes the Smooth Pack as standard, providing a rear-view camera, front park assist, and puddle lamps. It also features 18-inch alloy wheels and heated front seats, making it the preferred choice for those who want a capable 4x4 that doubles as a comfortable executive commuter.

Grenadier vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Land Rover Defender or the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, the Grenadier offers a more mechanical, 'hose-out' interior and a heavy-duty ladder frame that appeals to traditionalists. Its 90-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long desert expeditions between the Emirates or across the border to Oman and Saudi Arabia. While rivals have moved toward independent suspension, the Grenadier’s Carraro beam axles offer a level of durability and wheel articulation that is increasingly rare in the modern SUV segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The BMW-sourced 3.0L turbocharged petrol engine is highly efficient for its class, with real-world combined consumption typically ranging between 12.6 and 15.7 L/100km depending on GCC traffic conditions. Service intervals are set at 12 months, and the vehicle benefits from a growing authorized service network across major hubs like Dubai, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi. As a highly sought-after new entrant with a five-year unlimited warranty, the Grenadier is demonstrating strong value retention at the 3-year mark, depreciating slower than many established European luxury SUVs.

Performance & Capability

With a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, this SUV is a segment leader for hauling boats or trailers across the region. The permanent four-wheel-drive system and two-speed transfer case are complemented by a standard locking center differential, providing immense traction on soft sand and steep dunes. A 264 mm ground clearance and 35.5-degree approach angle allow it to navigate technical terrain that would stop most modern crossovers, while the 200 hp engine delivers steady, reliable torque for highway overtaking.

Comfort & Cabin

The Fieldmaster cabin is a unique blend of utility and luxury, featuring Recaro seats designed for long-distance support during cross-emirate drives. A high-performance air conditioning system is standard, essential for maintaining cabin temperatures in 45°C+ summer peaks, while the Safari windows can be tilted or removed to enjoy the cooler winter months. The interior also features overhead toggle switches and a central 12.3-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay, keeping the driver connected during long highway journeys.

Safety

Safety is managed through a comprehensive suite of active systems, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Driver Drowsiness Detection. The vehicle is built on a full box-sectioned ladder frame for maximum structural integrity, paired with front and rear parking sensors and a high-resolution rear-view camera to assist in tight urban parking. Its heavy-duty braking system is specifically tuned to manage the vehicle's weight when descending steep gravel or sand tracks.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast seeking a modern mechanical legend, this low-mileage Fieldmaster Edition is the perfect balance of rugged GCC-ready capability and daily-driver comfort.
