Summary

This 2023 Infiniti QX60 Sensory offers a compelling balance of high-end luxury and family practicality with low mileage for a two-year-old vehicle in the GCC. The Sensory trim sits near the top of the range, providing premium materials and technology that rivals European competitors while maintaining Japanese reliability. In the local market, the GCC-specific cooling and robust V6 powertrain make it a resilient choice for both high-temperature city commutes and long-distance highway cruising. With its seven-seat configuration and sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, it is perfectly suited for growing families who value comfort and road presence. This specific listing stands out due to its well-preserved condition and the inclusion of high-value features like massaging seats and premium audio that are often costly options on rival SUVs.

This Car vs Other 2023 QX60s

With 46,694 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven slightly less than the typical 25,000 km annual average for the UAE, making it a mechanically fresh example. The GCC regional specification ensures the radiator, AC compressors, and interior plastics are specifically engineered to withstand the extreme local heat without premature wear. Choosing a late-model GCC-spec QX60 provides a significant advantage in terms of remaining warranty and service compatibility at authorized centers across the region.

SENSORY vs Lower Trims

The Sensory trim represents a significant upgrade over the Luxe, introducing a 17-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system and ventilated front seats with built-in massage programs. It also adds a Motion-Activated Liftgate and a higher grade of quilted leather-appointed seating that is immediately noticeable in the cabin. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the Advanced Climate Control System with Plasmacluster technology, which is designed to keep the air cleaner and cooler during the peak summer months.

QX60 vs Segment Rivals

The Infiniti QX60 leads its primary rivals, the Lexus RX350L and Cadillac XT6, by offering a more modern 9-speed automatic transmission that replaces the previous CVT for a more traditional and responsive driving feel. Its 74-litre fuel tank is ideal for the long desert stretches between Emirates, providing a longer range than many European counterparts. The second-row seats feature a unique tilt-and-slide mechanism that allows access to the third row even when a child seat is installed, a practical advantage not found in most of its competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 is approximately 10.8 L/100km combined, with highway efficiency improving during long-distance GCC cruises. Service intervals are typically set every 10,000 km, and Infiniti’s extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman ensures parts are readily available. Historically, the QX60 retains value better than many European luxury SUVs, depreciating at roughly 10-12% annually, which protects your investment over a 3-to-5-year ownership cycle.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 delivers a smooth 295 horsepower, allowing for effortless highway overtaking even when fully loaded with seven passengers. The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system automatically redirects up to 50% of power to the rear wheels for better stability on rain-slicked roads or gravel paths. Five distinct drive modes, including a dedicated Sport and Snow mode, allow you to tailor the throttle and transmission response to match changing GCC road conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary of comfort, featuring tri-zone automatic temperature control with headliner-mounted vents for all three rows to ensure rapid cooling. The Sensory trim includes enhanced LED ambient lighting and open-pore wood trim, creating a high-end executive feel for both the driver and passengers. Acoustic glass is standard on this trim, significantly reducing wind and road noise during high-speed highway travel across the Emirates.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive with the ProPILOT Assist suite, including Intelligent Cruise Control and Steering Assist which are perfect for long, straight GCC highway drives. Standard features include Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection to simplify parking in tight city spaces. The QX60 also features a Rear Automatic Braking system, providing an extra layer of protection when reversing in busy family environments.

The bottom line

This QX60 Sensory is an ideal choice for a luxury-minded family in the GCC, offering nearly top-spec features and a proven V6 engine at a better value point than a brand-new model.
